No Greencure, KC?

You said in another thread that it drops down to 65-75%. Perhaps you haven't measured and it's not as bad as you think?

If it drops down to 65-75%, then NLxBB would be a gamble, but it might pay off with some preventative measures. If it drops down to 80-85% then you'd be better off sticking with strains like Frisian Dew and Purple Maroc. Those are just my thoughts.

i just watch on the news sometimes it will drop to 65% if its rainy then very next day it can be back to 100% but never really measured it myself with a device. i do have greencure that i got last year after i was already infected with bud rot.i found silverbacks threads towards the 2nd week in sept on here..i dropped in the Tw,and purple maroc with my other strains to see how they do..thanks for all the advice much appreciated gunna

Kygiacomo, NLxBB might not be ideally suited to your damp climate. Frisian Dew is an excellent performer here in the UK, where it is often very damp in late summer/autumn. However, like others have mentioned, most growers seem to prefer the green pheno, so you may want to put out clones of it. If you don't have the time or space to do that, then another variety that performs extremely well here is Purple Maroc. If anything, it's even more hardy than Frisian, growing happily with little in the way of maintenance.

do you mean from female seeds?

Not really a recommendation but my 2c: I ran 2 Power Kush from seed last year, they didn't flower as early as claimed (surprise lol) and they did get a little mould at the end so probably got chopped too early. Very vigorous and hardy plants and at the moment it's my favourite smoke. Not too stony or heavy but still strong. Skunky and hashy with earthy coffee and berry fruity flavours. I really didn't expect it to be so complex.

If I was to choose for myself I'd probably be trying the Critical SSH, both strains I've had great success with outdoors. That or the trainwreck. Good luck deciding bro.

i just LOL at the "didnt flower as early(SURPRISE)" statement. thats always so true. there is another guy that i spoke to on RIU about the CSSH and he said one his was like a 46 day flower finish. he grew the plant that delicious has up as a pic of the strain. this is what he wrote to me "Sorry have been away. The cssh had zero mold or pest problem. Only thing I would have suggested would be 1/2 to 2/3 feeding as she can be tempermental with the nutes. My friend grew my special cut outdoors in a fairly high humidity state with no issues"
so since the purple maroc that i had in germ didnt pop i got the CSSH in paper towels now. i have did a few strains from delicious and to be honest i havent had a huge deal of mold issues with them..the fruity chronic juice and marmalate and id say i lost 5% to mold, but next year im gonna try either cheese candy or critical yumboldt as part of my multi strain grow. cant wait to get those fem bangi haze though from Ace tbh. im following along in ur threads as well to see how ur ace gear turns out this year..thanks bro

Not a fan of Purple Power, enjoy Frisian Dew for a trusted piney example.

thx mj but i decided not to do the FD. i instead went with the trainwreck from HSO and CSSH that is if the Cssh pops. if the Cssh dont pop then i will just put the power kush into germ

That's a super choice from Humboldt's offerings, CSSH will do fine starting this time of year. I wonder where Delicious take's their haze from.

i have also wanted to know that. i have grew maramalte and fruity chronic juice and they did pretty good with maybe 5-10% mold loss but was really early finishers at my lat around 19th of sept.

TW was a mould magnet for me in the UK. Good luck with that one mate. Your might still pull it of though I struggle with hfh strains ect but I still managed to pull a few surprises with indoor haze strains ect. Talking about hfh strains don't you have any? Thier hash plant #2 is hardy as hell. Mine stud stong with no mould in a month of constant rain last year.

ya i got a bunch of the HFH beans. i just didnt run them this year bc im only geurilla growing and i dont have a indoor setup to sex my plants. i hate packing all that dirt in and then months of carrying water for it to turn out a male. i got a secert jardin dr420 from a buddy im just waiting to buy a light after this season then i can start running some reg seeds to sex out what i want for the guerilla grows. there is a huge differnce in lats for u and I..im at 37.5 n south east usa so we will see how it does. if it rots its ok bc i got a bunch of insurance strains this year that i put out like serious 6,biddy early, delahaze, the church, blueberry headband.sweet purple and S a n n i e's heribei.
true cup winner! in crap category
LOL good 1 mate
