Just came home from doing a little bit of time and decided, why not start a new grew in some Bio Terra Plus soil by Canna. My wife kept my Triple Deez mother alive for me while I was away and now im home to gain a harvest. She made clones 2 weeks before I came home and out of the 6 she took only 2 survived but she did good for her first time, I tell her...
I've been home for 3 weeks now and well, the two that survived are growing nicely and i took 6 clones the day after i got out and all 6 are rooted in solo type cups now. 5 days ago i chopped up the poor looking mother plant and decided to make clones out of her (she was healthy enough to take clones from). I took a total of 16 more clones and figured that if shit hits the fan ill have back ups.
I also started some Fire Alien Strawberry.

I see that you keep your clones in the same box as the other plants (under 400w). Do they root? I use for my clones a 6w CFL because in 2006-2007 (when i planted my first seed) i read somewhere here that if you give them a strong light, the clones will not root and i'm curious how are things going under a 400w or similar. I've never problems with my 6w light(for clones only) and they rooted in 4 days for some strains and a 20 days maximum for others.

they root quite well actually, see i've heard what you read before and used to root under cfl's also but learned that if you keep them far enough from the light you'll be ok.

See the thing is that the plants perform photosynthesis more with more light and i think the idea wen cloning/rooting is to provide enough light to keep them alive and vegging but to keep photosynthesis to a minimum to keep rooting medium dry and help produce roots/ keep growth to a minimum. growth while rooting might suck the clones available nutrients to fast and kill the cutting before roots are formed.

but ye I get roots. takes no longer than 7-9 days. I have had roots at 5 days but that was with cels and only happened once with a specific strain. (white fire og)

I knew this, and that's why i asked. Is good to know i can put my clones in the same grobox as the mother/vegging plants.

Thats cool! depending on whats going on with this court thing (MMAR injunction) I'm going to pop some more beans if all is good. I have some more Chemmando from him and some fire alien headband. A friend of mine also sent me some Misty Chem and some Trainwreck.

If you know me than you know i don't always get the pics up in time (something about uploading pics on this site turns me off) but here are the pics i said i would post last thursday...

The little plants in white bin are the FIRE ALIEN STRAWBERRY which have been growing for 3 weeks at the point of the picture (4w now) the two bigger ones in the black pots are the Triple Deez clones my girl rooted before i came home so they been going for 4-5 weeks at the point of the picture (5-6w now). any little clones you see around are clones of triple d that i took 3 weeks in picture (4w now).

I did a fim job on the clones and seedlings 2 days ago and plan to take new pics tomorrow so ill have those up asap so u can see how much they grew in the past week.
So far I'm liking growing in soil but find its way easier than pro-mix which takes a bit of fun out of it for me!

Week 5 Flower Triple Deez

Week 5 Flower Triple Deez

Heres what they are looking like now middle of week 5. I Had no camera lost my phone a couple weeks ago. Light bleached the tops a lil bit beginning of flower but they doing alright. buds getting bigger and frosty pretty early in flower with this 10 week strain. Im pretty pleased with this Bio Canna Soil it goes better with their organic nutes than promix did. I just through a fire alien into flower a few days ago also.

SO here they is the 2 big Triple Deez and 3 small ones to help fill space
