I set my goal, I intend to get as close as possible. 1gpw should be easy peasy, which is pretty much a given for a cheapo vertical system. now if we upgrade from cheapo to better, and start with some training. 25% more isn't too far fetched. with a few more little tricks, scrog + higher stress training/pruning/topping and co2, I dont see 1.5gpw too far off the scale, which I guess is what I am technically going for. I do have a pretty good system thoughJust for your info man that's going to be extremely difficult if not impossible to do unless you really know wtf you're doing. The math doesn't add up to me.
7 lbs is 3164 grams so to even get 7 lbs you need to hit ~1.6 gpw, not an easy task, especially with the 21 plants. to hit 10 lbs which is 4520 grams you'd need to hit 2.27 grams per watt! :yeah If you can do that you are a cannabis cultivating expert in my book, (although long veg periods and SOG or vertical make it much easier to do, its still impressive) Most will agree I think, but if you post a journal I'll watch it and see what you can do, if you can hit 2gpw with such confidence we'd all love to hear how you do it and replicate its 4 the community man good luck i hope you hit your goal ill be rootin for ya

search my posts I talk about it in a few of them, theres not too much in my build thread, but if you have the time go through them. I don't post too often.fuck yeah man i like your attitude, sounds like you know what your doing. What kinda setup are you running if you dont mind my asking?
I gave up Krusty buckets long ago for coco buckets due to all the work and complexity involved. This plant (grown in coco) is an example of what is possible. If it were grown Krusty style it would be about 30% larger.
The clone was given to me by Krusty himself in a bar one cold winter night, years ago. I hope he is doing well.

I agree! I just hope I can get 3lbs off of 24 plants with 2200 watts. 3 week veg time??Just for your info man that's going to be extremely difficult if not impossible to do unless you really know wtf you're doing. The math doesn't add up to me.

1350 grams on 2200 watts isn't very goodI agree! I just hope I can get 3lbs off of 24 plants with 2200 watts. 3 week veg time??
very doable...I agree! I just hope I can get 3lbs off of 24 plants with 2200 watts. 3 week veg time??
A few more
1 1k hung vertically will grow trees. just limit plants to 4 per light... @ least 4x4x4 area per finished plant.
4 weeks is good time to veg for trees... veg in 5 gal bucket, under same 1k(s), until plant is ~2-3 cubic feet (2x2x2-3x3x3). 8 weeks 18/6 is solid 1#+...
want ~4-5# wet weight should give ~1+# dry... should get ~20-25% total dry weight from 100% of wet weight...
this can be done by vegging to size of a large bush, or 3x3x3... this is the avg harvest size of plants viewed on icmag; or a big bush. so want to veg to big bush size & then start flowering...
another way to measure whether time o flower or not is to check for roots coming out of bottom of 4-5 gal buckets. just as would do for smaller container. when roots have colonized media of 4-5 gal bucket & are coming out of drainage holes, time to flower...
can reduce veg time significantly by vegging under same 1ks (4 per plant), in @ least 4-5 gal bucket, & running 20/4, 22/2 or 24/0... 18/6 takes longer w/ no noticeable benefit for more dark time in veg...
4-5 weeks of veg time is plenty under 20+hrs light regime. pruning, training & thinning is generally done during this time. dont want big tree that is full of cherry tomatoes - which can happen... however, member teresa from this thread
