i was just looking at 500 stakes @ 4' for $75 (ish) delivered to my door.

giving urself credit is great. but when you dont do it right & pay for energy, involve ur personal time, take up space, buy equipment, & still loose yield... its right to be critical. no wait, imo, fuck that be critical ! & learn from those errors. shit, you sell those nugz ...get the most for your $ & time & space.

i had a 4x4 screen of glue that lost mad yield (2 runs ago) after flipping at the wrong time. just like you did with this run. and the screen needed another net or supports everywhere. for some reason glue, you grow it right, gives back tons. you grow it wrong. yep. she lets you know u fucked up. quality will be there. but yield wil be way way off. i just got more from 1 gg4 in a 2 gal than 3 gg4 in 1 gals. glue likes attention. you cant set & forget her.

for sure keep ur head up nameless, i know that heartbreaking feeling in the garden where you think "i could have done better on this round"
i've felt it many times,
it's fuel for the fire, to do better, go harder
one of my fav bob dylan lines is "there is no success like failure and failure is no success at all"
not to say this run is a fail for you, but that feeling like i coulda done better is the beginning of the learning experience that is the real success imo.

When your biggest concern is supporting the donkey dicks your producing I think you will be just fine. You already won 95% of the battle!

I learned the hard way with the glue too. Now I stake pretty much all the shoots left after the lollipop, even the smaller ones. Since I've been staying on top of the staking, she is giving yeilds like crazy! Just got 7.5 zips off last 5gal rootmaker. The glue I'm harvesting this week looks even better. :good:

And I cant even imagine doing this with only use of one hand. Wow!! You really should be super proud of yourself. Hats off to ya, nameless! Very inspirational indeed!! :tiphat:

man you cats are the best. i wish we all went to the same bar every night...
so that was me trying to not be too hard on myself lol. im never running a glue mono without a double trellis again, obviously. but what im ashamed about this round cant be blamed on ignorance or disability. its laziness that kept me from building the second trellis. well, i also was supposed to have help from a friend that kept putting me off and never came through. but the current state of things rests squarely on my shoulders. i always say complacency is the worst enemy of the grower. i needed a little lesson in motivation to reignite my drive to do the best i possibly can.
so, yeah. i dunno. i know everyone says it flops too - which i know, firsthand obviously... but i never expected it to get as ridiculous as it has this round. tops were huge last round, trellis was placed same time, there was some shifting and leaning but not like this... it almost seems like the tops are bigger under the 630s. maybe not as dense as the ones under the 1k hps but im at 8 weeks now. last run they were still going when pulled at 67 days or whatever it was. so anyway, i expected smaller buds, and figured when they did get heavy they would just lean real hard. but no... these poor girls are buckling so bad im worried i might have to pull them early. many of the tops in the back of the bed (thats harder to reach and work on) are bent over at some rough angles, fuck. thats a call ill have to make tonight. im gonna try to keep staking it up.
either way, full transparency is important to me. i try to be as honest as possible... if i had room to do it i would try to get some pics of the back side of the bed that has received the least amount of attention. ill get on the step ladder to get some birds eye shots tonight before i ram a dozen or more 5' stakes in there.

level of self loathing today is - im reading bukowskis "post office" lol.

oh, and TWIN PEAKS!!!!

It happens I wouldn't beat myself up over it, The cmh have appeared to produce some nice donkey dicks, Great stacking for sure, Is it the light or the new soil mix causing the stacking or combination of both. My first run I was very happy with my results, my second run I didn't train or control them and the results were far less then my initial run.

I basically managed my canopy by density the cola's basically helped support each other cause they remained mostly upright until I pulled the screens out then the plants just let go and toppled on over. Some of the sides were hanging prior to chop but the canopy itself helped keep everything up right.

Here are some photo's you can see how well they stayed up through the end, but look how floppy they really were once they were open and not supported by each other.

lol i also thought mine would kinda support each other but not this time. i think the reason my plants stack so well is half soil, half bed. oh, the glue is in my old soil, which ive been reamending lightly for many years. both lights seem to stack the glue great, but the shape and size of buds is slightly different under the cmh lights. for sure there is more frost under the cmh lights. the buds have an average density this round, where they were closer to rocks under the hps. but i swear they are bigger. i keep judging the current round like its done, ive got another 14 days until 70. i already feel like its safe to say the 630s produced bigger colas than the 1ks and to me that is amazing. the biggest ones are wider than a large smart phone. i really hate that it will be another round that i have a true final number to compare to the 3.8+ i got from 2k. but i already see that i can hit 4 with a properly managed canopy and 1260w and that is fucking nuts. i just have to double trellis and come correct.

attic - my first pics in this thread? those are from 5 years ago. currently i run a sealed room without co2. i started out using growlab tents forever ago, because gorilla tents didnt exist. the growlabs were awesome, they are still chugging along 7 years later. a friend still uses them. but the little things break after a couple years, like the zipper tabs or cuts in the floor liner. thats really to be expected with any tent. the growlabs (if they even still make them) are the cheapest i would go personally. during my hiatus from IC i got a cheapo 4x8 tent that is the one im currently saddled with. i hate it. its a piece of garbage. every day i expect it to collapse. im getting a gorilla to replace it next month.
so, in summary, if you plan on using it for more than six months... spend as much as you can on the tent. its not worth getting a cheapo unless your gonna hit it and quit it.

glue @ 57 days... yall probably think im an asshole for referring to this as a "fail" but i have my own parameters for success and its alot rougher looking in person...

Shit's insane man!! Wish I had a spot as big as yours. Surprising that Green Crack isn't full of turned pistils @ 49 days. That stuff is known for being ready at 50 days. Is it from seed, or a cut?

If you consider that Glue crop a fail, then you should send it all to me for testing purposes. If it really is a fail, I'll let ya know, lmao!!
