they are taller, and because they are all so different no net. im going to install stakes this weekend and do another round of cleaning them up. some of the jillybean phenos are real lanky. i have no idea how any of these plants run so it will be pretty interesting!

so last night i was smoking some wax, as i was warming up my container to dip a second hit i glanced away for a second. when i looked back at the jar i noticed the flame looked different so i pulled it off and discovered that a spider had just fallen in my wax! there is no way it just crawled in there, so im guessing it fell off the ceiling. my house is pretty clean and new fyi, its not like i have bugs crawling all over. i figured it cant be a very good sign lol.

ok! so two days ago i went through and cleaned up the plants in the big tent again. and some of them have really stretched out alot. all the jillybean phenos jumped a good bit, the granddaddy purp got lanky too.
took these pics tonight. these are about 21 days in or so. i know i said i thought 23rd but all i know for sure is that it was that week, i think more like the 25th. anyway.

ok so heres the first in a long line of smoke reports that i have to knock out...

NIGHTMARE DIESEL!

so cracking the jar produces a housewide funk that will break the ice at any bar mitzvah. its many many smells and flavors are hard to sum up, to be sure. this is my second attempt, and i will try to do her justice. breaking up a bud provides a sweet almost syrupy smell. like honey kinda. clover honey. the local stuff of course.
the first pull off a well rounded bowl is sagey and piney, with many layers of "stuff" flickering around just below the surface. like i said, hard to place exactly. suffice to say its got a distinct woodsy twang that is so satisfying. ill have another.
second pull is more of the same but sweeter, with a wheat like flavor creeping in at the end. dont think thats my curing but it could be. dosent taste like hay though.... taste like a belgian wheat beer just a tad. think dank wheat beer in a wooden mug rimmed in local honey. guess thats close enough.
much like a good beer the second pull leaves me wanting a third. flavors are starting to combine into the taste of being pretty stoned. im reminded that yesterdays attempt did not see a fourth hit, but instead i stared blankly at the two lined word file on my laptop for about twenty minutes, before remembering i was sitting by my friend on the couch. it looked like he had forgotten about me as well. i didnt really smoke much before that yesterday and today i prepped myself dutifully. still, i can feel that dream state is only a few more hits away.
taste remains pretty nice for the next few hits. i leave the bowl half smoked for now, because i am pretty high. M83 suddenly seems a very appropriate choice of tunes for this little write up. its very cerebral and all in my head. i seem to switch from kinda spaced out lost daydreaming where i dont really realize what exactly im thinking about, to fast flitting thoughts highly focused if only for a second. the pain in my back caused by poor posture from this evening is suddenly more noticeable, and dosent subside. it dosent irritate, like it usually does. but its not getting in my head either. like i know its there and am ok with that. i feel like i want to get up and mess around some so ill wrap this on up. its a pretty uplifting feeling, especially when it mellows after the first fifteen minutes or so. from then on its an even clear headed crisp high. one that im very grateful to have and reluctant to share as i never seem to have as much as i want. i put this high in the same area as the golden goat, which i will do sometime soon. if i had to pick id go with the nightmare i think. it would be a tough call. i wish i could get it tested. anyway, gets the smart cat seal of approval, no doubt. and man she grows like a champ!

..Very good review duderino. I get different taste profiles (or perhaps describe 'em differently), but definitely a sweetness (vs. a musk, let's say).

I think you're right on about the "very cerebral and all in my head," and the rest of the general description (especially the parts i bolded). How long did you take her this run?

lets see, this gal was taken around 70 days or just under. id say i cut the light at 66 and she sat in the dark for three days before i actually chopped and trimmed her. i know thats kinda bad but thats how it went down. i would have taken her earlier because for some reason she yellowed too soon this round. she was in the corner too and not getting enough light because the swt mom was just pushing everyone around. i honestly thought it was going to be a really light plant but i hit 90g with her and she was the heaviest out of the six moms i flowered. but still way shy of her prime. shes getting real close to dialed though. i feel like the couple i have in the big tent now will easily achieve 90% or more of their potential, especially if they are maturing like i want in week 8 so i can chop them at 9. because i pretty much have to chop at 9 weeks this time. hell, if the majority's ready i guess i can always leave the couple ND under a single light to finish out. we shall see.

took these last night just over four weeks in. getting a tea this afternoon. pushing the bloom and humic up more, cutting inoculates and generally watering and feeding more frequently.

ok so real quick heres the bugs i still have, they are trying to make a comeback after bombing the 600 tent twice.... guess i didnt get them all. i found maybe half a dozen crawling around out of 25 plants, and i went over them all very well. transplanted into 3 gals. flipping soon. anyway PLEASE any input on this little beast would be much appreciated.
