I think I was expecting my soil to do most of that work for me. .. I mean, I think I was expecting the composition of my mix to sort of supplant the need for weekly/2x weekly teas.. Am I being lazy?

Clearly not, I guess, as my OGD yield was piss-poor as was the ND4. Added blood to the mix for nesstime, lesssee..

Love that puprality. Do you always just shoot in the tent itself, lights off, with a flash? Any other trickery to to achieve such a level of handsomeness?

silver - as far as the dirt goes, i feel like overkill is underrated. it seems like it helps get that extra kick. love my ej tea. and yeah, i pretty much always lean into the tent about 5-10 mins before the light cuts on and try and bang out as many shots as possible. its a bit of a challenge with 16 phenos in that one tent. i always handhold my macros and its still amazing to me how good they come out considering im usually rocking back and forth and muttering like a lunatic. and, on board flash. thats got to change though, im getting some new gear soon enough. so, no trickery. even with editing, when i have beautiful color like that, i dont change a thing. the white balance is set to compensate for flash on the camera and thats all she wrote. usually, ill try and tweak the white balance with a program, but i dont want to play around and risk compromising that gorgeous purple.

nl - I agree on the overkill is underrated. Rather, I sort of believe (feel) that there's no such thing as overkill with organic nutes - that I've seen anyway, though I've also not dumped a shitload of messican guano at the base of a seedling.

It's weird - I have this impressive ability to get lazy without ever feeling like I've gotten lazy (just deservedly relaxed, but not so), .. And then I'm like, "Oh, shit, I've been being lazy.. Why didn't I realize that?"

i hear you. i still go through phases. i get super relaxed after a chop sometimes, then a week or so later ill wake up in a panic, thinking, OH SHIT IVE GOT TO GROW!

just wanted to let you guys know i found another purple pheno in the pck, its a lilac shade, light and soft. the other is basically black now. cant really see much purple at all.
