Blueberry OG by Barney's farm 600w HPS
I have not seen trichomes on a pistil before. Is that just because I never noticed?

She's most likely bleached. This doesn't necessarily mean too much light. Inadequate or the wrong spectrum of light can also cause bleaching. It's a stress response..It is not a virus.Thought I might contribute
this is a cross between South indian, Destroyer, Durban and an auto amnesia.
the issue is that this was a random bean I had found on the floor (among the many when I do seed runs and they pop off the plants and end up in the remote corners of the room, only to be found after a season or two and popped out of pity and curiosity) and I have no Idea of the exact pedigree other than in the fact that it looks like a cross between destroyer and Kerala (South Indian from Idukki region, got the seeds from TRSC)
but this white "mutation" happened by itself, there was not bleaching from the light, which is a samsung COBLED 200W, and no nutrient burn, or lack thereof.
I really think it might be a mosaic virus, but deep down I'm wishing for a genetic trait i can select for ^^^
honestly unsure wha to call this

I thought I read somewhere that bleached parts will not get you high?. I can't find that info anymore so might be wrong. If you could test that for us please do.
The cause can be things other than lighting. It's still referred to as bleached. variegated plants will show up in veg. It's not a spontaneous trait that shows up in flower. variegated plants are not from a virus/pathogen in most cases. variegation plus other symptoms could be a virus. variegation alone nope. Ive seen this trait many times. It's very common in many plant species. If your plant showed variegation in veg then def a possibility . Going from the pic you posted IMO looks bleached. Cause unknown.that's because it wasn't bleached,
there are viruses and or genetic conditions, or insect bites that can affect the distribution or development of chloroplasts
Variegation mutants and mechanisms of chloroplast biogenesis - PubMed
Variegated plants typically have green- and white-sectored leaves. Cells in the green sectors contain normal-appearing chloroplasts, whereas cells in the white sectors lack pigments and appear to be blocked at various stages of chloroplast biogenesis. Variegations can be caused by mutations in...pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov
this is where you read it:
"Buds which have been bleached tend to be low potency or even have no potency (no available THC or other cannabinoids). Therefore you should avoid light-bleaching your plants at all costs!"

Light bleaching is similar to bleached hair from spending ample time under the sun. Read for more information on how to prevent and solve light bleaching.www.growweedeasy.com
But when I smoked it it got me high, if you pay attention and zoom in the picture you see a greenish hue in the white parts and the trichomes are healthy
sorry, I only mentioned in a reply earlier that it showed variegation by the second internode, but yes, it showed up in veg, and I know it's not bleached because of the green hue that it emanates, that is due to very few chloroplasts still working, i know it doesn't show in the picture, but I know a bleached plant from a variegated because I have sativas that grow into my lights every grow, so I am used to bleached tips, and boy do they taste fowl...but this one tasted amazing and got me high....The cause can be things other than lighting. I read the link you posted. That is not where I read it. Does show multiple publications are saying the same.
