So I went to the hydro store last week to get a bag of Ocean Forest and two clones from there I did that successfully I put the cutlings into a container. A week goes by and I noticed aphids on the clone soil and the seedlings that I just popped a bunch of aphids and I thought that was crazy cuz I don't know how they would have just showed up out of nowhere. I want to go check the bag of Ocean Forest and there was a bunch of aphids in the soil 😞 this isn't the first time this happened. I got some Captain Jack spray and ladybugs in the mail today so I'm going to use it tomorrow and hopefully it will work out I plan on calling the store when they open and tell him I experience but I'm just letting you guys not be careful when you buy soil from anywhere and make sure you check the soil.

Do you have a pic? Sounds more like soil mites than aphids.

It was hard to get shots because they moved around pretty fast but this is a close-up of whatever it is

I found these in the runoff when I pulled the cup from the other cup All of this was floating in the water swimming and on one of the seedlings there's a little sap and I saw a bug on it before I can take a picture and jumped off or flew away I couldn't tell. It was sticky when I touched it.

Looks like springtails, supposedly harmless(debateable),but i hate them.glad iv not had them for long enough, resistant to alot of pest controls too.i know some folks put up with them but i believe they maybe be a vector for other things so id rather not have them.iwould finish up what youve got going then start over clean(different medium, plants etc,),wait a few weeks at least between this grow and the next and clean ur room over to to be safe,if its aphids then ull hav to pull out all the stops to deal with them.good luck,76
