Ok...with numbers like that, how can anybody say he was not providing a product...that ppl were buying up at that rate--

I didn't realize it was revenue, and not profits, I'm high sometimes...

6 dispensaries, 2 years, 1.3 million. That's about $109,000 per year in revenue per dispensary. In LA, for retail business space, he could be spending 40K per year on rent, then there is the power bill, the security, the cashiers, and the product the club has to sell.

Now, $109,000 at $50 per eighth is 2,180 units sold. If they were open 6 days per week, and for 8 hours per day, they sold less than one eighth per hour in each spot.

Obviously, this dude made WAY more than $40 per hour from each shop. Probably more like 100 times that amount. $4000 an hour sounds much more likely than $40 an hour. So maybe he's alright with a couple years away. Let that money compile, maybe let your accountant try and make something of it on the market upswing. Then he gets released, pays off the huge black dude that kept his ass virginal in the pen, and moves to his own Caribbean island.

Sounds to me like the Judge KNEW he was hiding profits because his revenue was too low, not too high.

blue cross blue shield is a non profit in michigan... you think they work for free? No they can pay there ceo's 2 million if they want...i dont understand why we have to work different they anyone else....

if we go non profit and give ourself a decent salary they say were opperating for profit... But anyone non profit can pay themselfs what ever they want and no one bats a eye....

thanks poopy, that what was what I was trying to say. just because you accept donations for your gear, doesn't mean it is yours to buy a new ferrari. It's to pay overhead, bills, salary's, and (contractors). what is left over is put in a trust to be used for operations. You can pay yourself a nice big salary if you bring in enough $$$. There is no salary cap yet. Do you think greenpeace CEO's don't make Millions???

i dont understand how they can get away with all the double standards... to me making him go to jail is as dumb as the sending the bartender or the store owner to jail for selling alcohol....

I think this case is a reason why, if you're a dispensary owner, you would not want to let patients medicate on site.
Apparently the driver medicated in the store and then left. Extreme bad luck that he got into a serious accident, killing a civilian and permanently injuring a cop.
