Forcing Flowering Plants Back Into Vegetation

My latest plants are doing okay because I've corrected mistakes, including changing the light schedule to 18/6.

The previous attempts went into early flowering because I had them on a 12/12 or shorter 11/13 light schedule. I wanted to avoid all that purple light attracting attention from neighbors and people driving by. That purple light glowed brightly through the translucent panels of my greenhouse.

Since then, I've built a box to keep the plants in to protect them from cold temperatures. The box is also light-tight enough so I can run the lights as long as I want without attracting unwanted attention.

The four plants under the short light schedule went into very early flowering and are tiny. One is only 10cm tall and three were 20cm tall when they began to flower.

I've been trying to force those four early plants back into vegetative state and at least one of the larger plants is definitely responding... it's grown an additional 5cm. The other two larger plants seem to be responding too but I won't know for a few days. The tiny 10cm plant refuses to revert to vegetative state, so I'm switching that one to warmer color light with 12/12 light schedule, allowing it to finish. I suspect that 10cm plant refused to revert because it's an auto flower. The others are not auto flower.

QUESTION: Regarding the three plants that are reverting to vegetative state... What problems should I watch for? Is there anything specific I should do?

Giving a steady dose of root stimulants will speed up the reversal considerably

I cut 15 clones from my flowering plant at 21 days, so id be damned surprised if they didn't revert. Out of the 15 clones 13 survived

gonna take some time even in perfect conditions, obviously switch to veg nutes but other than that try to keep them happy and healthy and they will figure it out eventually. patience and a bit of luck, good luck!

i did not know about root stimulants, what is a good one? kelp?

Like Chronosync said, it takes a long time, and will grow mangy for quite awhile. I have heard people say to run lights 24 hours a day, for 2 or 3 days, then 18 hours a day. It is typically last resort, to save genetics. If you have young clone cuts, they will beat the reverted plants.

I tried, but lost patience and threw out.

Mine are on 18/6 light schedule, veg nutes, and root stimulator. I might try lengthening the light time but I won't be throwing any away unless they turn male or hermie. I'm keeping even the tiniest stubborn plant that refused to revert to veg and I put back on a 12/12 light schedule with flower nutes. She won't make much but a little is better than nothing.:)
