Fonzee flowering Germany - the beginning

Lovely evening ladies and gents!
Herzlich wilkommen to the Fonzee show!

A quick overview of the system:
1.2-2.4-2 meter tent
2x 600W lights with Lumatek digital ballasts
4x 20 gallon smart pots
6x 7/10 gallon smart pots (can't remember)

This is my soil mix:
*300L Peat
*105L Compost
*90L Organic Peat-free potting soil
*60L Organic potting soil for flowers
*50L Coco fibers
*2.5 Cups guano-based fertilizer (organic)
*1 Kg of Guanokalong pellets

I put more of the fertilizers in the bottom part of the pots.

I top dress with EWC, guanos and I use compost teas quite often in veg.

As for strains, I'm running 3 plants of Jilly Bean and some Diesel strains I'm looking for a winner from.
I also have an Auto Jack by Paradise Seeds that is almost ready.

Nice score on the new cuts, I'd lean towards SPG and Mango myself.

The list was of cuttings I got, should all be quite great from what I've heard.
I also got some quite awesome bean stash.

With just very cheap soil, big plastic totes and organic slow release fertilizers. Water once 1-2 weeks and you'r done.

Never intended to simplify/malign the work you've obviously put it and benefit from, just that the ingredients are relatively simple and effective, compared to some soils with 30+ ingredients (and usually less result/more heartache)

Dude, we're cool. I never understood it like that.
I LOVE the KISS methods. The less I touch the plants the better they grow usually.
I got a much simpler version of my grow going on another journal and if you'r looking for KISS you might want to check it as well.

I used to grow in coco with mineral fertilizers which require a much more "hands-on" attitude but now I just water them with the hose every 4 days and they seems to grow quite well.
In about 3 weeks we'll see if quantity compares to my coco runs (in the same tent I would expect around 950 grams) and how quality compares. They seem to smell much better in the organic grow.

Working too much with dialling up a soil mix from point zero would just beat the purpose of working less :-D
