Hey Merman - alrighty well using styrofoam or neoprene tied to the disc doesnt work... I shoulda known, since the weight of this thing makes it sink right away.

Hate to ask but after surfing around I was unable to find a site that would just sell me the floating donut - all require a purchase of the entire new unit. Did you pick yours up separately and if so can ya shoot me the site or post it? I wanna make sure I get that in there before running a batch of clones....

Check out this thread its the second post I believe. (this isn't the only thread with them in it just the one I found after doing a search) The water noodles work great because they are made of a foam that is nonporous.(closed cell) So, they will not soak up water.

They are also easily obtainable, you won't have to order them(from a grow store), and you won't have to go to a grow store.

Just trying to help by passing the knowledge.

Here's the floating donut I was talking about... there are a few models, make sure to get the one for your fogger model number.



Here is the splash shield, it fits right inside the donut with the fogger, a useful item for my setup, but may not be necessary for yours.
