Thanks so much for checking in on the journal. Any / All advice is Greatly appreciated!!Howdy!
Looking good over there! Yellowing is somewhat normal around this time of year. Especially if you are experiencing lots of rainfall. Plucking yellowing leaves depends on your environment and personal choice. Virginia is normally pretty wet, ehh? Yellowing/dead leaves can carry pathogens in humid environments, not always though. Some pluck to avoid any issues from decaying leaves.
I’m over in California, it’s dry as all hell still. I let the yellowing leaves stay on the plant until it naturally falls off. I’m not particularly concerned with moisture and decay-related issues, so they stay until all nutrition is used.
Do you notice more stigmas appearing or the buds starting to swell? Some varieties will self-consume when they are growing/building their flowering sites, regardless of soil nutrition.
Best of luck and happy harvesting!
THANK YOU!I have had mushroom very much like that growing even from the pots of my houseplants if they have been watered heavily and the weather is just right. Just picked them off always and let the pots dry well before watering and the usually dont come back. The spores are everywher I remember reading, for mushrooms of that/those species
Thanks @Farmer John ! The more I think about it, the more I wish I'd just left them alone and let them fall apart into the soil. But who knows, with the current rainy weather, I wouldn't be surprised to see a bunch more shrooms...
Anyone know what kind of mushrooms they are? Looked at a bunch of sites showing shrooms in VA, but didn't find them in any of the pics.

For sure cut those parts quickly , and perhaps harvest your biggest buds now since when you see that outside of the buds , you have some in the inside of others and if you let they prosper they will ruin anything ...10/3/24 (Part 1)
Today is the first sunny day since 9/28. Checked on the buds and I’m pretty sure I have some bud rot going on here. Am I correct? If so, I’ll cut the diseased areas out immediately and start praying that it doesn't spread...
BUD ROT??
