"Correction", the stomata doesn't close due to high humidity alone. The water content of Epidermal Cells will limit transpiration due to high humidity causing the stomata to close..

Havent had time to answer your questions but here is some full plant pics in the mean time

Answering those is like talking to po in an interview, it just gives you a million chances to incriminate yourself even if you are innocent. (Just a matter of time until someone comes in and blames the tap water :biglaugh: )

If your previous plants using the same methods had denser buds, the simplest answer is genetics. High temperatures and this & that will change buds but not to the point that they are fluffy. Buds from my plants are hard as a rock no matter the season, no matter if they foxtail, no mater what the hell I feed them.(disregarding hormones)

pm can definitely lead to fluffy buds.

Mattbho has a keen eye. the first thing I noticed was the way the inner buds looked, which to me said PM/too high RH.

remember your RH gauge on the wall doesn't tell the whole story. leaf temp & individual rate of transpiration of the plants is what you really need to read, and that's not as straight forward. shade leaf temp will give somewhat of an idea of the temp that is being transpired. like others said, the stomata can't be closing up regularly and expect a healthy crop. especially with relatively high nutrients.

in co2 hydro rooms there is usually a large spread between the temp of the vapor being transpired and the air temp of the environment. (shade leaf temp vs full light leaf temp). lots of air movement helps but still is walking a fine line in most cases.

phyton35 can still be applied. but the damage is done as the plants aren't healthy enough to support the growth required to properly finish.

I am thinking genetics also... the other strain (smaller plants ) you see in the pictures have hard buds..... hmm still not sure though

I was surprised at how much my plants bulked up after the recent rains.

It could just be a coincidence, they're at 9 1/2 weeks anyway.

But it made me wonder if a foliar feed helps plants to put on bud weight.

Of course there's a risk with mold, from the rain falling on tight buds.

I was out there in the mornings shaking the plants rather enthusiastically, every single branch, to get the water off.

And very grateful for the sunshine that came, to dry them off more.
