flowering period starting 12/28

Morning to you all oh who am I kidding none of you will read this anyway one of the pitfalls i've noticed around here seems damn ipossible to get people to talk to ya or even comment in your general direction.........i remain undaunted so on with the beat of my own drum...........as i said in my initial post i'd give more info on how i feed and so on.Basicly I couldn't manage to locate a source of Fox farms Ocean Forrest potting mix so i gave MG moistuure control a try as i was pretty hard pressed to find a potting mix that wasn't prefertilized to death.Anyway the stuff is pretty ok aside from the ferts in it so being to bone head i am........I flushe the shit out of with super natural super leech in fact i did it twice to be sure.The soil was then flushed with a crap load ph nutral R/O water.....thats all my little girls ever get.The soil was allowed to dry then mixxe with about 30 percent perlite and 25 percent vermiculite both were rised a few times first.The soil was then moistened.......the formula used is 10 mils earth juice grow,5 mils thrive alive b-1 organic,and 5 mils of liquide karma per gallon i don't add any epsome til i see a deficiency.the pots are half way ready to recieve the seedlings in peat plugs.the soil go's into either 3 or 5 gallon buckets this time i used a mix of the 2.Once the soil is in the buckets,about 4/5 full,I dig out the center to be about 2 times bigger then needed to fit my peat plugs in.The hole gets filled with vermiculite with a nice devit in the center the seedlings go in and get cover to about 1/4 abouve the plug.They then go under the MH first watering after they go under the MH is just the R/O water,the second watering is when it gets fun.at about or 8 days in veg.all my girls get a watering that consist's 2 1/2 mils dark energy,5 mils liquide karma,10 mils of earth juice grow per gallon.They get that for 2 waterings,then they get thier one taste of plant food peters 20-20-20 1/4 teaspoon per gallon with it i give they 10 mils of earth juice catalyst.So far I didn't expect to put then into flowering til jan.7 as i figured 4 weeks of veg would give me 10-12 inch plants which fits my room size nicely.The girls as of this morning are all between 8 and 10 inch's so before the get to big tonight the lights get cut and the hps gets hooked up..................so after 18 days in veg i'm ready to rock.....................i think i'll leave it up to you other members to ask for photo's of the girls at lights out.my last post didn't seem to spark much interest or comment so i'll just skip it unless i'm asked..............hope you all had a great holiday..............happy new year............

lol......sorry i lost ya and yeah no problem when i get in from work in the morning and open the room up i'll snap a bunch of photo's after the first night of 12/12 they should be up by tomorrow afternoon thank's fella's...........................oh i forgot to say that along with all the other goodie's i feed my girl's i've been feeding them canna rhizotonice every other watering as well........................

yep i agree it seems the better the sight the more well thought out replies are slow to come...........it's all good...........i'm love doing what i do and i plan on keeping up with photo's and info til they hit my jars......then we will do it again and again and again ad infinitum......

if you cant find ocean forest dont sweat it!

use some coco coir/bone meal/blood meal/bat guano/kelp meal or extract and put a little pertlite/flushed potting soil in there for good measure (mainly just to add weight to the mix once you flush the soil & pertlite its just matter) add a little dolomite lime for mg, i dont recommend putting TOO much in off the bat, but its good to have just a BIT in there from the get go, mj loves mg in its early stages.

another thing I like to do with that mix is to put a thin layer of worm castings over the top of the soil but thats just a personal prefrence, not really needed.

the good thing about mixing coco/pertlite/soil is that all 3 of those things hold water for different lengths of time, they all drain their own way (coco & pertlite drain VERY well as you know) and soil kind of holds moisture for continuous "feed" the bone/blood/bat/kelp mix also provides some basic ferts found int he ocean forest stuff and you can supplement with your earth juice and be set!! just an idea buddy!

Your plants have a good color on em and the stems look healthy. the only other piece of advice i've got for ya is to look @ some LST threads, its not too late to train your plants and bush em out a bit !

LST = Low Stress Training. Lots of guys do this to encourage vigorous side growth. Basically you tie the top down, reinforcing at the base with another tie to bend the main stalk over. I've never tried it outdoors, but this year I'm definately going to. There are several threads around that show exactly how to do it. Ya just have to look for em.

AHHHHHHHHHok i never heard it called that.........my last crop i had one master kust that got way to big and i tied the tip down and it got the neatest s bend in it and where the stalk bent the buds seemed to grow much thicker but it's only something i do if i have to.The plants also being from fem seeds kind of scares me off of messing with em at all,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,i'd hate to have hermie cause i pissed em off..........lol

Hey Jack I like your grow. I also want to know what strain/strains you are using. I am assuming it is one strain cuz all the plants look pretty uniform from what I can tell.

Hey Jack, how the hell are ya!! Nice thread my friend :smile: These plants were topped and trained; After i topped them i pulled the branches down and out to spread them out a bit. In Caprichoso's thread he screws drywall screws into the rim of the pot and uses them as anchors for string ties. It works very well. peace Bonzo

thank's fella's the encouragement is always nice..............the strian's are Jack H.cinnimon 4 girls...and 1 lonley NLxBB....lol.As far as what they get.........right now they get canna rhizotonic 10 mils per gallon,liquide Karma 10 mils per gallon and dark energy 2 mils per gallon the water is ph nutral R/O.Hey flipmaster are you running a thread on your grow?whats the thread title?thank's again every one i'll post new photo's at least once a week while they are flowering maybe more if when they start to fill out and get juicey......................oh i was wondering if anyone here has ever done a harvest or smoke report live style realtime?woud they allow it here ya think?
