Flowering Light Cycle For Thai Hybrids

Hey Dubi,
quick question, does the double thai or any of the other thai hybrids benefit from a more equatorial light cycle (14/10, 13/11, etc) so that they finish on time indoors? Or will they finish fine a normal 12/12 flowering period.

Also how much veg time should they need to finish between 4 and 6 feet? Can they be flowered from seed?

me is not dubi...

so my 2 cents are... from my experience gradually reducing light time every day from 13/11 to 11/13 and even 10/14 is much-much better for your sativas indoor and that means for you also. Why? it seems sativas can predict flower time if you gave them steady constant decline in light, beginning from the very youth (say -3 min morning/-3 min evening every day), so they get prepared for flowering much-much easier and readily than you just unpredicted and abrupt drop light down from say 18/6 to 12/12. Basicly, it seems with 13/11~11/13 they prepared to flowering from the beginning and that's how sun works actually in natural enviroment, while indoor with sudden drop they begin to prepare from the drop-point, hence considerably increase for you to wait for first flower signs and moreover this is stress for a plant, and if you grow sativas that means risk for hermies.

Second point is little pots for the beginning of flowering: it seems (at least with soil) that plants coordinate overall size and height based on availble root (or fertilize?) size, so if they enter flowering in small pots the final plant will be much smaller. This works pretty well for sativas indoor if you want them managable.

A.C.E. Seeds sativas are the real landrace-based sativas, so don't be tricked by dutch sativas experience
