Also, a quick fix to chubby up plants is carbs - good cheap energy.

You'd be amazed what a can of beer mixed to a gallon of water will do...Obviously, not in place of any nutrient supplement. The carbs are like candy - no nutritional value, just make 'em fat.

Kinda like beer does to humans - beer gut :D

check this..... I have two suggestions for you..... one has already been suggested and I can only further emphasize the effects of shit or guano, high in phosphorous added driectly into the medium or in a tea form, will do crazy wonders to the colas of your ladies...... the second is somewhat controversial and has side effects that I can only see as positive..... since you are nearly half way through your cycle.....4 weeks..... what you can now do is throw those babies back into veg for up to another two weeks so they can pack on a few more budsites and shoots before you throw her back in and significantly increas your yields........ however, as I said this method has side effects..... there is a chance, that if your plants are not succeptable to an easy transition between veg and flowering, one of two things will happen...... they will simply not revert back and enter staisis until you resume flowering....... or they will, but they will herm and you will get some male flowers in your ladies, this can be dealt with and looked at one of two ways..... you can pull those nanners and keep it sensi, or you can let some of em do the trick to someof the calyxes and you will most likely end up with the majority of whatever seeds that do end up coming out, being all or mostly all female..... if you keep the nanner rate down and you dial it so that you know what is being pollenated, you will be better off....... just a little advice I got from Tom Flowers in his book, "MJ Flower Forcing"...... hope my o2 helps.....

My last grow, I took the advise of a friend and gave them a teaspoon of mollassis with about three weeks to go. They did put on some more weight but I do not know if that was the reason or not......

Can you go any more in depth with that? 1 tsp per plant just tossed in the dirt or 1 tsp per gallon of nute water? I have about 5 jars of black strap molasses in the cupboard that are just gaining dust and this would be a very nice way of getting rid of it :chin:

I used one teaspoon in 3/4 of a gallon of water, and watered the plant with the entire 3/4 of a gallon. I first put the teaspoon of molassis in a cup of boiling water to break it down. Sugar is a carb and like in humans gives the plants a burst of energy. I will say that the plant showed no ill affects at all and the buds did get bigger, but they may have anyways...

I dont like bag seeds because the 50% chance to get a female. I prefer to grow seeds i crosses from the year before rather then that. But what you have is very nice.
Has anyone heard of the strains KC33 or Durban Poison because i have cross seeds of that :)

Molasses feeds microbes in the soil, is high in K and MG and makes the buds a lil sweeter. A great supplement for a soil/organic grow.

Coming down the home stretch. Each pot was flushed with 3 gallons of tap water last week, have been watering with pure tap for about a week and a half now. All the leaves are yellowing and dropping off, and the tallest one has almost no leaves left. Even the bud leaves are yellowing. I assume the plants are taking the last bits of nutrients left out of those leaves and supplying them to the buds (and seeds, most likely). Lots of the hairs remain white and I'd say I'm at about 50% clear trichomes and 50% milky. Was hoping to be done this week but will I be waiting another 7-10 days?

Wish I could supply pics, but just can't right now (too stoned). Really wanting to hear opinions on how much time is left.

[edit: Today is day 64 of 12/12]
[edit2:] Some of the seeds have turned a mottled brown, I think they're finished developing. Is this also an indicator of overall readiness?
