Flowering day 30! Can I make them fatter?

These are bagseed, unknown strain, that have been given as much care and attention as p-p-p-possible. The buds look ok, but I'd love for them to get fatter/denser! They are taking Foxfarm big bloom and tiger bloom with every watering and i added a tiny bit of garden lime today. They are basking within 10-15 inches of a 400 hortilux HPS. What more can i do to fatten them up?

They will start packing the weight on soon but if you like you can run and get some Fox Farm Beastie Blooms and while you're there pick up some of the Cha-Ching aswell to feed in the end of flower.

Use only 1/4 teaspoon of beastie blooms or Cha-Ching every other watering

If you ever have the money you should invest in a blower with the air cooled reflector. That way you can get your light even closer to your plants. More light penatration depth wise...

PS The stems and leaf veins have really started some purpling...you think this will spread to the buds? Will these have purple buds??? Night temps are quite cool...

No definite connection - I've had this happen on a few non-purple strains, as I wind down the ferts before harvest. Nice looking colas!

those bagseeds are looking pretty good man. Bagseed is always fun to grow. Can get frustrating with hermies and all though.

but they should start packing on the stuff(looks like they already are) and you should get a decent amount of smoke.

last 2 weeks should be pure water, try the boosters from 4 to 6 weeks of flowering, now is the time . Looking way fat though no worries.

are you using an aircooled hood with glass? i am and i can get my 400w horti about 4 inches away from the tops

dAMN i gave them a double shot of big bloom and tiger bloom yesterday and today it's like a skunk died in my closet for real...stinky funk up in my trunk! Plus it looks like the buds grew another inch taller overnight...should i be worried about nutrient lockout or anything? They don't seem burned at all and the biggest leaves are still yellowing and withering...are they hungry for a more powerful dose next time? I will hang myself if i burn them this far into the game!

oh yeah ft100: no i'm just using the cheapo aluminum reflector and a desktop fan for cooling, but the buds are about 6 inches away and doing ok.

The yellowing is normal in fan leaves at this point. Your doing fine. Keep upo the good work

Well all I can say is that you are lying about the attention (some people snuggle them to death) or your plants like your TLC.

Thanks baccas! I just mentioned the yellowing because i saw this -amazing- hydro grow on OG once where the PPMs at the end of the grow was something insane like 1999 (?) and there was NO yellowing at all, it was all still green and good when she harvested. So i thought maybe it's possible with enough feeding to prevent any yellowing/wilting.

Day 30 was the perfect time to start adding big flower ripening boosters.
Just amke sure you stop using them at around day 42 for a nice, clean flush.....

Update, Day 42!

Let's take a moment to reflect on the past, and see how it affects us now in the present.

A beautiful little 6-incher on her last day of 18/6...



...blossoms into a lusty busty lady who turns heads wherever she goes.



Let's study her symmetry...



...and take a close-up look at her private parts. (Too bad she popped a few nanners on me. I took off all the ones i could find, but I still have been finding seeds popping up here and there. What can I say, I gotta learn things the hard way )



Next we have a twisted, misshapen, split-stemmed mutant...



...who, through hard work and determination in the face of adversity,



now looks to have a good shot at winning the special olympics. Oh yeah!



Last, but not least, we have a gal who started out the tiniest of the lot. A real runt, only 5 inches tall on day 1 of 12/12.



But 42 days later, my my MY! Just look how she's grown!!!!!!11shift+1 :jawdrop:





Finally, here they are together. *sniff sniff* I just can't believe how fast they've grown up! *hoooonk*
