nice tk I have some Blowfish and its up there with th tk I know cuz I smoked both.
looks similar to my pure kush!! awesome! representing for the south coast huh!

Ok. No first hand knowlede rowing TK here. just feel like sharin my introduction to O kush. And maybe get some info on another "Purple OG"-this purple OG I have never seen or heard of since '01.
In 2001 when helping with the beasters, my budy called me over very exited. Saying he had some "OG Kush" that would make me flip, but so would the damage on it. I rushed over. He pulled out 2 jars.
In one wasthemost fat swollen pointy calyx weed I had ever seen, and it was deep purple. In the other was the same looking weed, just lacking the purple with a much more pronounced orange hair. When he cracked the purple the house wreaked with what I came to know as OG. When he cracked the "orange og" as he called the smell made my eyes water.
First I smoked the purple. I remember it clearly to this day. Ever moment-lol. As I put flame to the bowl, the second the smoke filled the chamber and hit my pallet before pulling the bowl-the flavor of OG-just OG not tahoe or sfv or any of the other kushes-og kush flavor-hit me. When I cleared the bong it was overwhelming. Ive had great tasting weeds before-blueberries, HPs, om the PLUM. Does anyone else know the PLUM. Over 20 people I packed bowls for of the plum and asks what they tasted theyd alwats smile and say "PLUMS!" By the way-this is on the central coast cali north of santaB...
Really tho, the flavor of this new weed-this purple Og was incredible. Within 5 minutes tho the flavor was gone.
Next came the "orange OG". As I drew the smoke up the chamber I did not get that immediate flavor burst like with the purple. but after i cleared it and was holding it thinking I was cool and all was good. A pain struck my chest and I exhaled. Right away on the exhale OG flavor filled all my senses. For 15 minutes, even after drinks of water, I could still taste and smell that flavor. And fuck was I high.
My buddy only grabbed the purple a couple more times, we settled on the "orange" one because its flavor lasted longer and it the high was hands down better.
After about a year of buying $500 onces twice a week for myself courtesy of the beasters
the butter kush came through. This shit was greasy. Same flavor almost, just more earthy, almost buttery(sry my flavor descriptions are poor-my palate distinguishes them but my mouth just doesnt speak the). The butter kush was incredible but only came through in small hlfp batches every few months. About 8 months after the butter kush hit, we started to get Bubba, this was about '03. tag on it was stupid but not as high as the og. Bout mid '03-early'04 questionable batches of OG began to hit. it soon began to not be worth the price tag, and there were 4 different distinct kinds. The one who plugged it turned to ills and yay, got tied and and turned snitch-POS. i would consider giving my left nut just to buy ozs of that again. the pic on page 8 looks very much like it. i was told it came from a house on a hill in an upper class area of LA-not really LA but no need to name the city.
Obviously from the ducks I shelled I aint no one. but i remember that shit. sry to rant, threads pretty fucked anyways so i figured I wasnt hurtin nuthin. Time for some more headband and trinity bowls

--mr dank...would be very interested in what you think of her when done...was kinda blown away couple weeks ago when a friend of mine, and fellow ic magger told me he had run the tk a couple times and pitched it...he wasnt doggin it, he said it was beautiful smoke...but as yield is a priority for him, he had to cut it...ive been under the impression that this was the be all end all of this line...curious where the rec or med growers would rank it rather than the commercial perspective...

as for the story ..................i lived in ocala (just below g ville) as young buck thru the early 90's. skatin and smokin..... had a buddy who would go to micanopy and grab some of the best kind nug around. TO THIS DAY!!!!... god bless you skinny benny !!!!! where ever you are!!
