I just harvested some outdoors and have 1 more to go for my winter outside. the cold slows down on the growth but can have some great coloring going on with it.
try to cover them on the cold nights if you have them in pots and can bring them in.I have used lawn bags on bigger plants but most a reg.size trash bags will do the trick. start some seedlings now inside and place them outside for a spring crop. march and april are good flowing months for nice summer supply of smoke. and Never Know when Aqua is looking :)

AQUA!!!! Dude, what's up? Looong time no see. Have you been healthy? I was out of commission for awhile too. Just like you, I gave my clones to a friend to take care of and he's gone. So, I had to start from scratch again. At least another friend came through with an Ogger Kush cut for me. I hate all the work of growing, but I've never had a reliable hook-up, so my style for now is that I just keep my mom and veg her clones until I give them to a friend who puts them in his backyard to finish them outdoors. He doesn't smoke a lot, so he just wants a little nug off each plant after the trim, dry, and cure.

Seeing you here again reminds me of the old days at OG when you were first starting. When was that, 2002? You had so many questions. Then, you really took off and started growing more than I ever did and I was so proud to see you help other newbies overgrow the world. Those were good times. Don't be a stranger.

Anyone else have plants flowering outside right now? If so, do you think mold will be a problem if my plants are outside until they finish in late feb. Is there any chance that the light cycle becomes too long of daylight by then and throws the plants back into veg?

As long as you are north of the equator, the light cycle is very favorable to flowering until at least March. Here in Miami, we are so close to the equator that April is fine too. May can cause vegatative growth here in some strains, but usually sativas will flower fine anytime of the year as long as they have reached puberty. If you see the little white hairs, that means that the plant is mature enough to flower. No strain will flower before sexual maturity. I have a looong post early in this thread on this issue.

Mold isn't a problem in the winter and spring because that's our dry season. I hate to even step outside in the summer and early fall due to the humidity and bugs. I hope that helps.

can't believe i missed this thread, but yeah i moved here a little while after you Forfingoz and I love the sunshine state.. never too cold and there are some beautiful women. anyone ever grow some plants year round here or have a couple harvests a year?

couple plants i think will start flowering soon and give me some christmas presents! started late september. FL rocks!

Yes, I grow all year long here. I have had a few different grow partners over the years and I have given them clones to put in their yard to finish. I have put plants out at all different times of the year. I put out a few LUI seedlings one December and they never grew much because the days were short. They started flowering around Feb while they were still tiny. I posted a pic of the little girls next to a wine bottle to show their scale at OG and the folks in the Florida thread nicknamed them the "wine bottle buds" and talked about them whenever the subject of winter or stealthy grows came up. Are there any old Florida Overgrowers (Floggers) around here now? I miss you guys.

Hello, Sid. It's nice to see you too. How is your grow going?

mtf, I remember you a lot from OG, although not really from the Fla thread. You were part of team OG, right? You were at least a very, very active poster.

You still have your old posts from OG?

Since you have friends and family in Fla, do you have any experience with outdoors grows here, either personally or indirectly through others?

What's up, SKELETOR? I haven't been following the growhouse laws, I'll have to try google.

BTW, why did you change your name to blockheader? Are you a big fan of Breeder Steve's Blockhead? I liked his LUI and SweetTooth#4, but I didn't keep moms of either one.

Here is a pic of an Oger Kush that I vegged and then put in my grow partner's backyard last winter.

It's strange that you have a problem getting seeds. I had no trouble getting everything on my one and only try. At the time, my safe addy was in central Fla. Bagseed is almost always great for outdoor cultivation in Florida, but they sometimes are not ideal for indoor cultivation.

Here is a pic of my Ultimate Indica (LUI) from Spice of Life that I grew in the winter of 2004.

no i don't have my posts from OG, i wandered over here after they went caput and since i hadn't posted much it wasn't hard to backtrack to check out things a bit....i don't know any outdoor growers that actually do anything other than spread out a bunch of bagseed and hope for the best.....i don't actually know anyone in the area that grow.....
