I bring MaxiGrow back to the Uk every trip back to Floride now. K.I.S.S. is just too good to ignore. Only learned it because of the people on this board. But hanging around with the smart kids was my strategy at school and it worked.

dcasper, fall-early spring is the "dry" season for us. I like to throw 3 node clones in early august they veg out till late august and start flowering, after that I'll throw out clones every couple weeks, sort of like a perpetual cycle until early spring. They usually finish at around 1.5-2.5 feet.

Low visibilty, low bud rot potential, once flowering starts deer leave em alone, only thing to watch out for is bugs and soil, which you should prep for anyways

fyi, getting ready to buy some small NEEM trees to help fight all the bugs and while searching i found that NEEM grows well in almost all climates and will grow to a large shade tree fast but you can contain their size by limiting their container size.

i saw some info describing a NEEM Forrest as being a silent forrest b/c no birds / animals are there b/c no bugs / insects to eat.

sounds like my type of bug / insect control.

I bought my neem tree 3 years ago. First year I kept it in a 5 gal bucket and it reached 5 ft.

The next spring I planted it in the ground and it is now 15 feet tall. It doesn't compete with bamboo for sheer growth rate or shade production, but it grows faster than most trees in FL and grows well in sandy soil and is drought resistant.

I had a seed crop this year, but wasn't really paying enough attention to it to harvest them or use them. I love neem cake as a soil amendment and as a AACT ingredient.

I popped 8 beans and ended up with 3 keepers - all female.

Two are sativa dominant and to control height I trained them around tomato cages. The third plant put on the brakes when I topped her and is bushing out nicely, but I won't start flowering her for another month at this rate.

Fairly easy to clone, I have rooted cuttings of all three so now it's just a matter of seeing what the end result is.

I've been down this road before so I'm not real excited, but keeping my fingers crossed. . . . .

Good to see you posting M8! I'm busy as hell at the moment but I intend to start a thread dedicated to this project when I can. I'll post a link here when I do.

Seed production is planned, I just have to find a suitable male. I don't have a lot of beans left, but fortunately the very generous individual that provided these genetics has offered more beans if my search for a male is not successful. That said, it could be next year some time before all that happens at the rate I'm progressing.
