that bill will effect deticated head shops. i can go to just about any gas station around me and buy glass pipes, bongs, screens etc..and one i has hookas.

i thought the bill specified that 20% of sales had to be non smoking stuff. ill check in to that.

you can still buy glass online so its not like were having to go all McGuyver and shit...using beer cans, apples and whatever else.

Well this is some bullshit right here.....

well ultimately most glass blowers sell to head shops so ipso facto (or insert correct Latin legal term here) they will be affected as well.

Actually as I understand it, the questionable part of this law is proof of the store's sales in dollars and cents. The law requires (as I understand it) that 75% of a store's sales need to be in tobacco products to be able to sell the aforementioned smoking devices without penalty.

While the letter of the law is succinct, the only way to prove a crime is to look at the books (accounting documents) of said business and the only legal way to do this without the business owners consent is with a warrant, and the only way to (legally) obtain a warrant (corruption notwithstanding) is to show probable cause.

Now I'm not a lawyer, I don't play one on TV and I didn't sleep at a Holiday Inn Express last night. If you are a lawyer and can correct any inaccuracies herein, PLEASE do so ASAP!!!

That said, the only way I see this happening is if a local law enforcement agency cozies up to a local judge:kiss: to get a warrant to look at the books of a business and tries to go after them that way.

I've lived in FLA almost all my life so when this happens (and it will), I won't be surprised. But as long as the business owner lawyers up I expect that they will be able to fight this as long as they have the $$ to pay the attorney fees and if they are lucky, they may get some pro bono work from some of the attorneys who are interested in preserving individual rights.

I'm glad the business owners are banding together to try to fight this with numbers. I really think that is the best way to approach this fight.

That said, I would be very cautious about approaching any local business that might sell these products. I would encourage you to support them, but be smart about it.

Don't park your vehicle in their parking lot

Obscure your vehicle tag in a "legal" way

Yes it's hot outside, but understand that they may be under surveillance so a short walk to visit them is not a great sacrifice.

Don't forget to make yourself inconspicuous. Don't wear clothing that you normally wear, or any identifiable jewelry, hats, glasses, jerseys, shoes or any other clothing item that may be used to ID you.

Pay with cash. Keeps you anonymous and gives the owner the maximum profit he can make which he then may have to use to pay his attorney(s).

Its late, I'm rambling but some food for thought here . . . . .

Hi ,
this is not correct. It is determined by the amout of tobbacco and / or herbal blends being sold. the ratio is 75-1. Meaning the pipe may cost $100.00 , the herbal/tobbacco will cost $300.00.
This is sold as a package deal only. Its Happy Meal Time...cw
I don't know if what I wrote was correct, matter of fact I think I put that in there. I just know what the guy told me. What he told me was that he would not be affected by the new law in that he would not have to shut shop down. He will only be affected by the big increase in taxes in which he would have to let the affect ot them roll on down to the next person. ( the customer ).

Zombies and Christians....there is a difference?

I don't think so , in MY experience, the one is completely dead, devoid of soul and heart. And , well it go's without saying,...completely absent of any brain activity whats so ever.

They should be avoided at all cost, though it seems there effects can be felt at great distances,.. in the complete defiance of all that is holy, pure or even logical.
Don't not under any circumstances, confront one with intelligent, logical statements... or worse yet, common sence. This causes them to be come frothing, violent, flailing mindless beasts capable of untold atrocities, completely and unequivocally dangerous to you and the community.

Confronting them MUST ONLY BE DONE BY TRAINED PROFESSIONALS, PERIOD.

And the other,...well,..I've never seen a Zombie.

Ah...week one of flowering for my little White Russian girls is complete.

Not too much stretch...but I ain't out that phase yet.

Cab is going to go through massive upgrade over the next two weeks....carbon filters, fans and new cooltube.

If anyone knows where I can find a really stealthy cabinet lock for double doors, please lemme know. right now I am leaning towards magnetic locks with a stealth release button on top of the cab. But I will consider anything that does not result in a wardrobe in the bedroom with a padlock on it.

Gotta run to another meeting now. Boring and stupid.

What about an internal pin/latch that automatically locks when closed and can be disengaged by placing a rare earth magnet on the outer surface? Sort of like this maybe but using the magnet as a key.
