I know everyone says "Pics or it didn't happen" but I'm pretty paranoid about keeping pics around so I tend to destroy all images not long after the grow is done. Mostly I take them to see and understand development and seasonal effects. Here are a few that escaped the trash bin, nothing special just some bagseed that did fairly well for me.

Funny, I do the same thing. I usually smoke out, freak out, get real noid and hit delete a few months after the grow is done. I save a few here and there but the purpose of the pics is to supplement my stoner memory. When you're watching the grow daily you sometimes overlook subtle changes that you would otherwise miss and the pics really come in handy.

Welcome to IC and personally, I can never get enough outdoor Florida grows, so keep us informed.

Man, I was born and raised in Colo. If it wasn't for my hatred of snow I'd probably return. I road through Colo a couple of years ago and was amazed by the growth. Hell Castle Rock in now south Denver.
But the MMJ laws look awfully attractive.

Just a quick update on my first grow. I'm 4 days into flower. When do they typically start to show sex? And if I sent you pics of their genitals, would that be considered sexting? I don't want to get in trouble.

Took 4 clones from 3 of the kids. Hopefully I can keep them forever.

Tell me about it bro, we went fishing in the flats the other day and the air temp was reading 104! Two legal reds and a trout on ice helped cool the situation down a little though.

Crazy wonderful day here, just a nice smell in the air lately

Great Irish win tonight out at Pebble Beach....kinda disappointed my guy Dustin fell off the cliff.

Fuckin around with wife's camera today, still can't get angles and distances right......so far the only drawback of vert. That and having a wide array of crappy cameras in the house.

hey Fla brother's!!!!!! Quick question, what setting do you use on your camera to get a pic. like the first one shown in these pics? I can't seem to take a good close up pic of my girls and it is really irritating. If anybody knows I would appreciate some advise.

That's one way to fill a cooler. That 4 footer had quite a lot of toothies I bet. Do you eat shark or catch them for the sport? I went yesterday with the hopes of putting some grouper in the boat but all I could catch was illegal snapper. It's funny, I released more genuine's in one day than I kept all of last year.

I have the flower setting on the side of my camera, but when I put it on that setting I don't have a flash. When the lights are on and I put it on the flower setting the pic is blurry. I can't win man. So when light go out I put it on the flower setting and no flash, when lights are on I put it on the flower setting and it's blurry. My life, welcome to my life Fla. Anyways hope everybody is safe and smoking nothing but the best in the dirty dirty.

Mine works the same as yours and is pretty common actually. A flash with macro would wash out and be blinded from excess light. If its too blurry its because your shutter is staying open to compensate for a lack of light.
So either use the macro setting holding the camera 6-12 inches away from the subject using the available light from your grow area
-or-
use a regular portrait type setting with a flash, hold the camera further away and use your zoom feature to get in close.

Hope this makes sense.

TY THS I appreciate your suggestions. I will def try that out tomorrow the girls are sleeping at the moment, and they do not want to be disturbed. I have some really good bud I want to share with my fellow Floridians. It's some pink kush and it is looking O soooo sweet. This plant is the craziest thing I have ever seen. All of the fan leaves have only three leaves all the way up the plant, there are only a couple of fan leaves that have five leaves and the bottom two leaves on those are like round they don't have any cuts in them if you know what I mean. The plant is sooo small also. It's only about a foot tall, but it is packing on weight. It has a month to go if it is going to go sixty days or so and I can't believe how mature it is at this stage. Oh well hopfully I will have some pics tom. to show you guys. Also the top of the pistals are pink, and this bud looks f**king phenominal.

Bring on the fish poRn!! Buddy just got back from a trip to the pipeline this past weekend and did pretty well. I just can't justify $250 in gas to go out that far and then have such small bag limits on everything.

I swear, between gas prices and this oil spill, I'd sell my boat if I thought I wouldn't take it up the a$$ on the deal.

Oops I see the Bou is already out. Ya'll are truly my dam heros! I've been lurking and learning for a while now-just trying to work up the nerve to be more involved with posting. My stuff never finishes up looking purdy like what ya'll have! (Bug problems and now I learn I might have TMV virus from the bug bites) Growing is a bitch but it sure is fun!

Got a freezer full of $100/lb. fish. I think it would be cheaper to fly to Italy and have dinner than catching it yourself. Sold both of my boats back home before moving down here. Got hosed but atleast I'm not buying 200 gals of fuel every weekend. Go out with a friend of mine. Split gas, bait work, definetly alot easier.

Still can't resist the sound of a 50 wide screaming though.

TG - I betcha you have a better camera than mine But another trick is to take your shot nice and in focus a bit further away and then crop into your focal point when you process the pic on your computer.

Usually in your photo editing software you'll have some sort of toolbar on the side/top that has the little "box" tool to allow you to crop a photo. Simply adjust the square to what you want to get closer to, then cut, copy and paste that image onto a new canvas.

May sound complicated, but once you do a few it will be nothing.
