Hey guys I have a question.
Would this product work like a carbon filter would?
It says it uses carbon filters inside the machine to eliminate odors. I posted this in another forum but can't get a straight answer. Thanks

This is my prize for today
Still attempting to get close to Boo in the ISO potency ballpark.
For this I used 11 grams of White Widow buds, de-stemmed, and lightly pulsed in the coffee grinder (4 short bursts to make it bowl ready)
This then filled 1/2 of your 1pint mason jar. Plopped in freezer for a couple hours along with the bottle of ISO.
Then filled jar to height of herb, and shook like a muther for 30 seconds.
***NOTE*** My last few tries were using trim I had already dry sifted, and using the T-shirt strainer. For this run, no dry sift, and used coffee filter for final strain.
Evapped under a fan for the night, and ended with just a hair under a gram of blonde goodness. Smoke test later today once I get my glass clean.

so what did you do, hold a magnifying glass to your camera? i cant do that with my slr, but maybe on the wifes point and shoot.
also, you aren't going to try the stuff you put all of these countless hours into???? no way, you cant disrespect like that, the ladies wont ever grow the same for you again if they find that one out
i would say no, if you want something on the cheap i suggest buying a stanley blower fan for $40 from like a homedepot, and then make your own carbon scrubber, you use a 5 gallon paint bucket, a shitload of virgin activated carbon, and some other stuff. really has to be done right to work, otherwise you should just spend the $150 for a real one.

I think it really depends on how much odor you are hoping to mask. Nothing beats a fan/filter combo where you are drawing ALL the stinky air through.
But for a tiny micro cab it may work...but needs the filters replaced monthly if ran 24 hours a day.
If you got extra cash, test one out and let us know. Wish I could help more.

ever try making a big keif box and just keifing the hell out of your buds? i'd get close to 1 gram from that 8 you used, then you could cook some yummy edibles with the left over green shake. if you use a screen with a fine micron, you get primo stuff. we used to spend hours opun hours straining keif. then i had a pollen press, once it presses for over 24 hours, it all forms together into a hard chunk of blonde keif.
i stopped smoking that stuff years back, i found it would raise my tolerance too high, and then just weed woudnt do the trick anymore

Oh yeah good drown, I'm a sift box lover, but I like to change it up from time to time with some nice melty ISO. Normally I dry sift all trim and popcorn...when you hear me mention sand, thats what I'm smoking....but you are right about raising tolerance. Thats the main reason I haven't yet tried BHO, supposedly rips your tolerance.
If I do my ISO right I end up with 1 hit wonder.
My dry sift is usually 2 hit wonder.
Buds normally 3 hit wonder.
Tons of fun the games we play!

I was never a Big Smoker even when I was Drinking like A Fish
But for right now it will be my Boy 33 and A grown Man in his own right. He will let me no if its good or if I need to change Things Around.
He has always
ed My being sober and He has never had A problem with To Much Of Any Thing. But for myself I have always been A MORE IS BETTER kind of Guy I will put in the hours for A good grow and he will do the Ginie Pig Test

For carbon to work Meaty, the stinky air must be pulled through the carbon, the it comes out smelling clean.
To make de-odorized air you could use ONA gel in a bucket with a fan, or a small ozone generator.
We run a Ozone Jr. (around $50-60) in the house at all times.....sometimes by the front door, sometimes in the bedroom, sometimes by the grow closet...but always on to help. Can't say enough good about that little unit.

carbon filter in room-->ducting-->fan-->ducting-->vent to outside.
air has to be sucked through the outside of the filter and pulled through the "hole" on the end. efficiencies are terrible if you go the other way, not to mention carbon dust shooting out of it.
