DO NOT trust them tri meters !!!! i bought 2 of them recently & neither one is accurate ! they're both sitting in a box now unused !!!

Been using those 2 meters for couple years now and they work fine. I check calibration every run and drift is minimal. I can also take the 2 meters after calibration and put in same res and they are within .02 PH of each other. PPM and EC as well have been very reliable. Since Ph and PPM drift over time anyway small tolerances don't matter. I Ph to 5.6 let drift up to 6.1 then adjust back down so even if my meter is off a little it doesn't matter.

Only Issue with them is they are prone to RF interference from the electronic ballasts so I always calibrate and take actual readings with power disconnected and running on internal battery. I unplug from AC and give a while to make sure readings are stable before making adjustments to res.

Got the AC for $50 off of CL. It's a 10K BTU unit. It was actually a real pain in the ass though. The intake for exhaust air was on the side of the unit. I literally had to build a box around the bottom of the unit and seal the bottom half of the unit so as not to exhaust unfiltered air outside.

The overall room is 4' x 8' x 7' with 2 600w lights and it sits rock steady at 76. I need to go get my C02 tank filled and start pumping the C02 in there. I'm running my lights at night so it gives me a nice negative temp differential (should help with stretch). Lights on temps sit at 76 lights off usually 78 which is what I keep the house set to. I no longer have to freeze myself out so the girls stay happy. Plus now I'm not running central AC to cool 1 small room.

On another note.

This is a clone from the really nice Amnesia x TT. Actually my only one now, since the others all turned out to be males. The other 1 is on the right side of the room at 2 weeks flower but had some root rot when it first went to flower. It's roots have recovered but it's behind the WFA#6 x TT so I didn't put up pics of it.

View Image

The 2 little plants in the middle are clones from the WFA#6 x TT. The Amnesia x TT is less than a week older in age but look how small these still are. Not going to be keepers for me regardless of quality. Just too slow to veg. I will say that the Mothers on the other side really took off once flowering started. The plant on the left that you can just barely see is the mother of the heavy foxtailing sativa I have been running. It outgrew the veg area so flowering it and a clone will become new mother. It was pure fire last time I flowered it.

I love the look of a plant when it's put into flower. They get so happy and lush :)

Did you fix your root rot issue? A very small amount of bleach (couple drops per 5 gallons) with water and a quick drench is one of the best solutions out there. Might want to do that every couple weeks if you've had it this round. Make sure to rise the bleach solution off the roots when you're done :)

how R U venting the heat off that A/C unit?
looking nice by the way.
EDIT; I jus read your post above.

First off the entire grow box is in a spare bedroom.

I built a box out of the same Styrofoam board the walls are made of. The box is physically joined to the back wall of the grow box and the back is open to outside bedroom air. Exhaust is drawn from the outside bedroom then vented through a window. Will get better pic of box and AC tonight when lights come on. I also use a Titan Day/Night Thermostat to control the AC unit. AC is set to 64 and Controller turns power on/off as needed. I set controller to 76 lights on and 78 lights off.

Likewise I have cold/cool air from outside pushing from window through both lights and back out. This means AC only has to cool radiated heat from the lights. No filter on there because the duct has positive pressure from outside air. Any leaks in ducting will cause outside air to be pushed into the room rather than pulling air from the room outside.

You're not wrong. But it's far from GrownOuts first experience with her lol. First flower run sure. But I can assure you he's smoked a good bit of glue. In fact from multiple sources if I understand correctly lol. Lemme know if I'm spilling the beans bro lol

Yeah I hav definitely smoked lots of GG#4 from several different sources. Its not at the top of my list of favorites but its close.

@GrownOut prune, prune, prune. Those bitches throw sucker branches and spaghetti legs everywhere bro. Gimme a holler if you need help dialing. I got her rockin fat n dialed. Doubt you'll need it though

Will do bro. So far I got her growing pretty good. Another week and they should be big enough for flower. Hopefully ill have roots on the SFV soon and can get those in flower soon.

Here's an update on the Silver Kush, AKA Sad Kush as I call it. This is the very best it's ever looked since before I topped it. Never grown such a sativa dominant strain / phenotype. Anyone have any logs they need cut?

Needless to say, I didn't clone it. Just got it from a bagseed from a friend and wanted some variety, so kept it going when the tent was empty. Now I can't wait to get her out and a number of smaller plants in there.

And for those asking on the AC unit here are some pics from inside of how I sealed the AC unit in. First are the box I built from the styrofoam board. Notice it is joined and sealed to floor and back wall and around the actual unit itself about 1/2 way up..

And in the back of the box. Exhaust air is pulled from outside the box in this area and then exhausted through the ducting.

Windy, I have just the standard bubble bags to make hash from....the key I have found is to make sure it gets dry quick. I froze and micro-planed it a few times. This was made from SG's Goblin Queen....delicious
