Buckets got a funny cichlid fish story for ya... my buddy came over this weekend with some fish that his buddy had to get rid of because they were nipping the skin and fins of his clown loaches. Dude loves clown loaches. anyways, so my friend comes over with a five gallon bucket with 3 auratus and 2 electric blue jack dempsey. I said first of all those jack dempsey won't work in my mbuna tank, the auratus will though. Buddy was like... let's just do it and see... ffs right it's MY tank. so we put all the fish in there and just like I expected the eb jack dempsy start getting their ass tore up. By the time my buddy left they were just about floaters... I had to pull all my rocks out to get those fuckers out of there. that was this weekend... so I put them in a bucket with a heater and an airstone to watch while I figure out what to do with them... wouldn't you know they started fighting each other. what my mbuna didn't do the other jd did... killed that one dead. they're some mean ass fish man.

..... I got the strain from FOE20. He owned ABNORMAL SEEDS! Company outta the Midwest... One thing I know fosho..... I never got a bad seed or a strain that wasn't straight HEAT!!! Just ask buckets..... if u look up FOES old threads... I'm sure u can find it in there.... He did threads on everything he grew.... I'm pretty sure..... He's biblical when it comes to herb!! I miss being able to talk to him on a reg basis..... He's like a living encyclopedia britanica of weed...... He had gotten into some trouble last November so we haven't spoken lately..... Fortunately, I will b taking a trip to the Midwest to reunite w him and some other close friends...... I'll b bringing back THE MAZ, WILLIE WONDER, SUPER SILVER HAZE, and the BUDDHA TAHOE OG.....

the only way to introduce fish into a already established tank(which i try and never.do...im very anal about my tanks)..is right when you release them from the bag,bucket...whatever it is there in...is to just start removing rock,etc from tank..and i mean EVERYTHING...then go right back in there and start setting it up all over again....no one will have any territory to fight over...just like a brand new tank...some times it can suck to do that...and yes they will.still fight,but it.will be no where near as bad,as if.just dropping them into a already established tank...

when i would remove all my rock,to catch.all my.fry....they would fight.again once tank.was set back up...but that was just a break in period... didnt mean to ramble on...and if ya already knew all that then my bad...LOL

All this fishing talk has me really way too excited. Haven't gone out in a while. I actually just got a 2nd kayak, a proper fishing kayak, so I was hoping to go more, but man I love salt water 100x more than freshwater. Might have to take a trip over to Tampa soon....

CG did you get one with the feet paddles? I've done some kayak fishing in cockroach bay, all up in those mangroves.

I like freshwater equally as much as saltwater....love seeing a bass just destroy a top water bait. The biggest issue with freshwater is gaining access. Unless you live on a lake... Not as many public access spots.

Haven't kept cichlids in about 15 years but that is the only way to do it - tried almost every kind I could get my hands on back then and if you don't confuse them it was almost always a blood bath.

Green Terrors, Jack Dempsy's, Oscars etc. Mean ass fish. When I got married DW didn't like the two Oscars I had at the time so she "convinced" me to move the tank onto a screened porch. They were about 8" each in a 40 gallon tank and they were big enough not to kill each other (although they postured and play fought all the time) but they would eat damn near anything I put in the tank from lizards, grasshoppers, crawdads etc.

Mbuna are African Malawi chichlids. those two don't mix anyways besides the fact that they are some of the meanest fish ever... I told him those fish won't work in my tank and he didn't believe me...lol.

I took a tester Amnesia x TT nug a couple of days ago... I need to upload a pic it looks real nice for being almost a month early. I was so high yesterday off of it that I thought it was Thursday all day... LOL I was ripped. It wasn't even from the smelliest one. thick and chunky and sparkly good stuff man.

every day I walk into the garden this is the first plant I want to see...

there isn't a blemish on her... no bugs at all. except for the ones that get stuck in her oils. Morcheeba, I definitely smell the skittles... but it's not sweet. it's all sour... and there's like a burnt rubber maybe smell ( hard to describe) undertone that is so interesting. This is probably one of the best if not the best I'ver ever had in my garden. I can see why DP built a cab in her honor.

i think Hugh has said something about the burnt rubber in there but its not picked up by me and ive toked what he grows so its a personal thing.

i dont get anything sweet in her but replace the sweet w/a kushy thick feel in the mouth but thats just what i taste and attempt at describing it.

Yes those are charles testers he sent me,Jamaicanberry frasier valley blueberry x lambsbreath. Nice sold sativa colas two feet long about 20 per plant no topping,cause it was a 12-12 from seed.i am very happy with it,frost is there very sticky,smell is very fruity.

Cheeb!! One things fosho!! FOE20 don't play!! That dude quit school because of recess!! He's serious bout his dankies!! I'm proud to know him as well as everyone I've met here on the ic n Florida thread...... I can't wait for my upcoming trip to the Midwest.... Got some new baby's homing home w poppa!! From what I'm understanding.... everything I'm bringing back is worthy of the FL THREAD!! Can't wait to share some w u guys!!!
