Here is TT at day 6....single gal in a 3x3 tent w/ 300 watt LED
She had some deficiencies and other issues (my fault of course) but is on the rebound strong.....cannot wait to see what I get out of a single plant tent run. I am betting on 1g/w

well now the real show begins,had them under a lame fluorescent for a couple days,while i trashed half of the bullshit i was running,so now its time to sit back and watch these beautiful ladies do there thing..they presently reside under a 400mh,and the tt will get upPotted in a couple days...

I am sold on LED's.....only reason I am running HID in my new room is didn't have the $ to upgrade to LED's in it yet.
Have been following a DIY thread and may make my own setup the next time but gotta say I am 110% satisfied that I bought some illumitex to start with.

being in a non-friendly state it does wake me up to what one can do with less plants and more veg time. i will get out of this tent the same amount as my next round....and there are 5 plants in that tent.

what i contribute is growing advice to people who need help. sorry if i'm not posting enough pics of huge plants outdoors to your liking. i don't grow weed. i just post on forums and talk shit.

Some of you guys may remember that I had a little accident when I first put up my t5 lighting and it fell and broke some plants. One had a branch ripped off, two were completely destroyed, and one ended up with a single branch surviving. These plants were a good 2 feet tall at the time. This branch that survived was just a little side branch. Anyhow, I put it into flower since it was already in a 5 gallon bucket and here's the results! The plant ended up almost as big as a few regular plants that I stressed with under and over feeding.

Speaking of LED's.... I never been to intrigued about them but following a grower at the moment who is testing these after dealing with so many others. When i see he final thoughts on them might give them a try.

Those are the ones I am running now.....I also have the LS which is just the 50W version. They seem built really well.
Also, I picked mine up 1/2 price last April and have saw where they ran the 1/2 price special at least one other time since then.

I went through the whole HID vs LED debate in the marine aquarium hobby and LED is pretty much proven everywhere now. Having done a lot of research on LED, while building my own for my marine tank, I know it is possible to put together LED lights to match pretty much any spectrum now. Cost is still the issue. Even with DIY you will spend more upfront on LED than HID. Where LEDS shine is on power consumption and replacement cost. An equivalent LED is less than 1/2 the energy consumption and lifespan is 10+ years. Led also give off less heat so easier to keep rooms cool although in cooler climates the HID can negate the need for heaters.
Having built my own DIY lights I can tell you it is worth the cost to buy a pre-built light. I am currently testing vegging under a 50W blue COB that I had from my aquarium days. 1 50W chip attached to a CPU cooler for cooling. Working well so far. If you do want to build your own COB is the way to go. You can get 50-100W COB with driver on ebay for about $12 each. Fairly easy to put together an array.
This is some of my current grow at 4 weeks flower. Look at the sugar leaves already.

I ran LEDs in veg for a bit before I shut down. I was impressed once I got the height down. I was running a no name brand 135watt 6-band UFO style LED fixture I got off ebay. Looks exactly like the one that HTGSupply sells. If I had a small grow area to run a couple plants I would have definitely used it for flower. I have seen several grows that ran both LED and HPS and they had very good results. I am definitely looking forward to seeing how that TT does under that LED. They have definitely come a long way, if they could just get the costs down it would be the best option for a light fixture since it uses less power and less cooling/ventilation is needed. I flowered under my 4ft 6bulb T5HO fixture before and had great results.
