Florida Growers Thread; Reloaded

Today was a interesting day... The 20 year old kid who lives next to me confronted me today and told me every so often he can smell some "fire" smoke coming from my house. I have smoked with him once when i was cutting my grass n he asked if I could get him some of this "fire" I had but I told him I bought it from a guy for $120 a quarter n he shook it off.

I run what i thought was a "sealed" room. I've never smelled anything. Can I just hang panda on the walls and seal it with double sided tape to seal it more? I run a 14x9x7 room with a 8" phat filter, do I need 2 8" phatties?

Damn dude bummer....im just curious as to how far away the grow area is compared to the place where the person was saying they could smell.from...

Then again im.sure ya thinking he could be blowing.smoke up ya ass......but ya can't be to careful.....

Good evening friends!

One can never be to careful.......last week my son asked if I had just smoked as he smelled weed when coming up driveway. Well no, but the duct had come loose from the filter so straight smell outside. I am usually pretty careful so that caught me off guard....starting a checklist to keep on top of everything.

I dont have anything in flower now....if he smelt it 2 weeks ago, diff story. Clearly were not as "sealed" as expected. I have plastic zipper doors on the inside, pullin neg pressure!

Idk what to do but can't flower nothing till prob solved.
Any ideas/ suggestions? Hit me with everything!!?

Is the filter in the room? Do you have your lights being air cooled? I filtered the air that cooled my lights and had an 8" fan and filter just sitting on the floor in the flower room , cleaning the air in the room. No smell at all, and I had 5k going, with some real stinky strains, Gorilla Glue #4 being one of them.

bigger scrubber maybe? works better with more surface area to pull over and pulling slower. I do smell checks all the way around the house every day morning noon and night cause ive had leaks and its scary shit. good luck with it.

Filter in room, I was running a lot of OGR gear. 220pint a day dehu, new 8" filter,air cooled hoods,8" fan per 3 1k's, 8" on the filter, split unit ac, co2 etc...

Someone I help run their shit has a room slightly bigger and he runs 2 8" filters and a ozone generator but he exhausts in the attic. His setup goes filters fans hoods then ozone then out to attic. His shit never smells or he would surely be in jail by now his neighbors are too close for comfort
