Dude, I was hoping for a stellar deep purple pheno w the lime green HULK VEINS running through it.... the real deal Mendocino cut..... that does spark an idea tho,... I guess I could always seed her out n search for a different pheno,....... I've seen mixed reviews on the kens gdp....., honestly... I dnt think what I have is even close.... I think I have a romulin.... which to me, is even better,..... it's short n stubby but packs on the buds..... I'm gonna run it again this next round.....
I did find some Kilroy seeds from a buddy of mine up in your neck of the woods windy....... I'm just waiting to find that old Gainesville green..... fuckn sweet piny lil bitch..... fluorescent green goodness....
My homeboy says she's in there and more than just a few,.... I popped over 20.... I guess we'll see if I can find her....

Anyone tried a 315w CMH for flower? Had one of my 600w electronic ballast damaged in a storm and thinking of replacing it with a CMH upgrade kit.

Thoughts?

Ive tried one in the flower room but didnt replace anything with it just hung it in the middle of 4 600hps to help with spectrum. Storm ruined my ballast but it did help a little with stretch and added some oil to the buds. I ran probably 3 or 4 cycles and was liking it. Was thinking about picking up a galaxy ballast next time. Ive had the best luck with their products over the years.

my area of florida only gets just short of 14 hours of daylight at the longest days of the year. i know people grow outdoors in florida, but how is this enough daylight to prevent flowering? i know it's more than 12, but not by a lot. not when indoor needs at least 18 hours of light. is outdoor growing different? also, how dark does it need to be outside during the night time? it's actually kinda bright during a full moon, not to mention if you're close to a city.

Moon light doesn't affect plants, that's why we can use the Green lights during the night cycle growing indoors to work in the flower rooms after lights out. Like this......

Normally if you vege out indoors and take plants out then yes they will start to flower, plants started and moved outside early enough and Mother Nature takes over...... and remember the color of light outside changes with the seasons outside It's not all about the time the sun is up, plants use the daylight hours, color of the light they are receiving and temperature to determine when they flower (PHOTO period being the biggest indicator here)...... Don't worry about the little things...... Outside ..... Drop some seeds let mother nature have her way and we can all learn here together through your posting........ :tiphat::tiphat: I really dont think that outside light pollution has much affect on the plants, one of my best friends lives in a Condo Downtown Atlanta she grows little bonsai style plants on her patio on the 22 floor at the moment she has 20 Afghani Bullrider plants from Vancouver CANADA going and they haven't missed a beat there is enough light to see what you're doing 24 hours a day on that balcony, Leading me to believe that light intensity is also a factor outdoors.... her plants bud and frost up like a champ, it just goes to show you Mother Nature has her ways....... and also never forget plants adapt to the environment there placed in so that they can survive and thrive... All that time plants use to adapt to their environments will affect quality and quantity of your buds, this is why sealed rooms were invented..... in a sealed room the plants want for nothing and spend all their time producing high quality.............. Best of LUCK

indica needs more than 14 hrs of light to veg properly as sativa's will veg in 13 + hrs of light. if you look around you will find that sativa growers flower under 11/13 on off indoors. has nothing to do with moon light as aspen has stated. veg your indica's indoor and put them out after the humidity has dropped and sativa can go just about year around

I have to step in and put my snake boot in my mouth..First and formost when going from indoor to outdoor the moon will indeed have effect on flowering/strectching time.Of course there is other factors involved {all in my sig link} Too long to get into:biggrin:

We get a lil more than 14 plus hrs..lol Believe me that plus counts..

If planting from seed outside.I recommend to plant seeds on the first quarter of MAY moon..This insures that plants will NOT preflower.
Going up into june>>solstice..No plants should be in flower stage..
Oh they will flower at 14.5 hrs!!! If from in to out.If under 24/7 and never seeing darkness..But they gonna stretch, and every bug, butterfly
worm ect will be out in force..

Commen rule of life for every fisherman, farmer ect,,The moon!!!:moon: Plays a very big role in our life..
I hope you folks have a wonderful year!!! REMEMBER plant the high ground!!!> Water might be a problem late spring..
Peace!!<ws>
Edit:..After re reading I forgot to mention..Alternitive lights,,ANY unatural light that shines on/near plants will effect flowering.
