silver thiosulfate

this is what i used last time to reverse the gg4. lots of people use collodial silver as well with good results.

yes Aspen, it is the same thing as making fems. i believe anytime someone uses pollen from a reversed plant one always ends up with females. no expert....i have only done it one time. some plants reverse fairly easy and others not all.

This is correct. Offspring will all be females as the parents are both female so no way for the seed to receive a Y chromosome.

And either silver thiosulfate or colloidal silver will both work fine to force pollen production. Make sure not to smoke any of the treated parts of the plants afterwards though.

Not much else worth showing at the moment. I sure wish we'd get a good freeze here and knock down some of the bug population.....

RR how do you use the colloidal silver? How is it applied?

Haven't done it myself but from my research you simply mist the area of the plant you want to treat daily until it starts producing ball sacks. You don't have to spray the entire plant. You can treat a small area and still harvest other parts of the plant for smoking.

There are also numerous DIY links on a Google search for making your own colloidal silver. Basically just a battery and some pure silver.

I gotta get some sleep and get the loupe out again in the morning....quick check I am think 6/6 males on the huck kush but that just cannot be :yoinks:, the odds had to be with me....had 5 for 6 males on the Satori. Fuc%ing Nut Fest around these parts. Gonna soak some more seeds in the morning if that is the case as I keep getting further and further behind.

Unreg... im in the same boat with ya. Last pack i popped awhile back was GO's kings kush, i think 6/6 that popped were all males.

I popped 6 or so not to long ago and sure as shit at least 3 males already with another two likely judging by the looks. Need another day or two before i can tell for sure. The last lone one unknown is of course a runt.

Thanks for the info guys.... much appreciated.... I'm guessing I apply the colloidal silver during bloom in order to change the sex?? Should I apply more than once?? If so, how often?? I've heard that when u use that csilver, the male flowers dnt fully bloom?? If that's the case..... how am I supposed to get the pollen out??? I just never had any experience in that area....

You gotta do it every day, once a day for at least two weeks. That's the very minimum. I have read and am going to try my next round, spraying once a day for two weeks before flower, and then the first two weeks of flower. IME the male flowers will fully form. Some won't open all the way or at all, those can be cut off and dried/opened.

Damn that sucks unreg...I axed 4 males so far from the huckleberry cookies, seen 2 female preflowers and 3 others really haven't shown anything I could see yet but hoping that means they are females too. Just giving the roots a little more time to fill out from the transplant then switching over to flower. I topped and have been lst'ing this time but they seem to be veg'in pretty slow.
