I use heat resistant fiber board.... it has a reflective side to it. U can get it up to an inch thick. I also run my lights during the day, not night time.... choppers can only use thermal detection at night when the suns down..... u can get that fiber board from Home Depot....

Yes I saw this post but did not answer because I don't know, here is what I do know.
1. It is highly illegal to do in Florida but obviously you know that.
2.cops love busting indoor grows and crowing about it on the news, plus they get to sieze your property, sell it to buy more high tech devices to catch more people and get more overtime surveilling and going to endless court hearings.
3. Assume you are being watched at all times.

4if you are a licensed approved grower under the umbrella of proposition 2 and have a nursery that meets all of the criteria disregard #1& #2.

Having your lights on during night or early morning hours immediately raises a red flag to authorities..... the power company knows the home owners every move by the intel the smart meters attached to your home provide them.... they know how much power each device in your house takes, they can tell what room your in and even when your not home.... just from the smart meters.... I know this because Ive worked for a power company for 16 years.... if your running more than 4K lamps at a time, I would definitely evaluate your lighting hours, ventilation and proper wiring....
If the power company has to come to a neighborhood to change our a transformer that's normally a 25 kva and switch to a 50....... they might contact authorities.... then a device will b mounted on your power pole for surveillance...... then, it's all over but the crying from there...... things are far from being good for us growers..... be safe my friends..... dnt let your guard down yet!!!

I was watching a drugs inc. episode on Nat Geo. For Miami. This cop rides down the street and points out a potential GH cuz of window coverings. The next night he's at same house because of a 'burglary' call... hmmm. He enters empty house and Shazam nothing stolen but lots of beautiful girls with swollen sexy thangs awaiting pollen that will never come.

Although we all still need to be careful as ever the feds have done us all a favor. Last year the feds renigged on the seizure program and denied the state their share of seizure profits. Now that they don't get all that free money they aren't spending nearly as much on enforcement.

As many of you know, one of our brothers (WindyCitySmoker) here in the Florida Growers Thread has fallen on hard times, He is currently in the hospital in Ocala Florida facing some very serious Medical Issues! outside of the sheer cost of a prolonged stay in the hospital he is for lac of a better phrase (OUT OF BUSINESS) I for one will gladly help him re populate his mother room once he is home and healthy and i ask all of you to do the same please, if you could find it in your hearts to do so! For the time being if any of you live close enough to drive to Ocala or if you have trusted friends or family close to Ocala would it be possible to Role up a care package and get it out to Him? Lets show him some love from his digital family! WindyCitySmoker is good people and i believe he would do the same for any of us!
