Flora Nova Bloom + Canna PK 13/14

Canna means only to use it once as a stand alone. Even mixed with FNB at canna's reccomended rate it's still should probably only be used once. That where the nute calc comes in. You can severely lower the pk amount yet it keeps the solution within a ratio that is acceptable to use all the time.

Think about canna pk like this. It is 13 P and 14 K.
Well AN bloom is 0-5-4, which at double strenght is 0-10-8 which is similar to canna's pk 13/14 and AN is a three part of a formula that can be use continuously.

In other words, canna pk 13 14 is just a twice as strong version of GH or AN bloom portion, but otherwise virtually the same thing (minus the mg and S, but don't worry about that right now)

Yea, a small dose added to the fn to bring my PK up to an acceptable level shouldn't hurt. I'm gonna use the nute calc to figure out how much i should add to the FN.

For the next watering, i am going to feed a full dose of the canna pk (from the directions on the bottle) along with the Flora Nova, this will be the watering where i give them the PK boost. If i give them 5ml FN and 5ml PK 13/14, that would bring my N-P-K ppm levels to 77-151-284. The total ppm level would be about 667ppm (including mg, iron, sulfur, and calcium) Would this be ok? it won't burn them right? Obviously, i know feeding them that dose constantly would cause problems, but what about just this one watering?

Alright, assuming the PK is 1g = 1ml then if i added 1.5ml to the normal 5ml dose of FN that would bring my N-P-K ppm Numbers to 77-89-158 which sounds about perfect. Does this sound good?

The other levels would be:

Sulphur- 38ppm
Calcium- 77ppm
Magnesium- 38ppm
Iron- 2ppm

If these numbers sound good, i'm going to go ahead and use that as my main formula, after this weeks "boost feeding".
