flooding from Helene- is everyone safe?

a hell of a lot of folks in Helenes path, several from on here. several dam failures here in TN, more in NC. got I-26 blocked locally between here & Asheville, and several small communities under evacuation orders now. haven't seen anything from Cosmic Giggle since yesterday, she's in the middle of the crap in NC.

I live on the West Coast of Florida and I was very fortunate. It tattered the hell out of all my trees took a few limbs down, but we didn’t have much rain at all and we only lost power for 30 hours… my prayers, go out to the folks up in Tennessee, North Carolina and Georgia area along with the panhandle…

news now saying that "all roads in western NC are to be considered impassable". I-26 between the tri-cities and Asheville AND I-40 between the I-81/40 interchange outside of Knoxville and Asheville has collapsed in several areas from water undercutting the interstate. holy shit...
