Flood tables for tents

I'm a knob and would use 4 triangular pieces.

A much easier and faster route would be to run a trough down the middle and grade two strips of ply. A few kleats on the frame, liner and you're good.

Any type of grate would work, cut to size. Few pieces of angle iron. ReStore's and scrapyards.

I don't know. There is a convenience to a table. I just tend to build rather than buy. My time is cheap and it typically costs less or similar with a substantial difference in quality.

I'm invisioning myself covered in glue and chicken wire with a shit load of scraps from the dump around me , calling a grow shop for a table ... Lol... I wish I was handy .., all I can do is use tape

the black trays are only 4" deep & are very flimsy !!! i only use them for catch trays .... i wouldn't flood them . the white trays are 7" deep & are fiberglass & meant for flooding . the white ones will not fit in a 4 x 4 tent without being trimmed & your loosing the rigidness if you do . thats why i use the 3 x 3 trays in a 4 x 4 . they're 40" to the outside edge where most tents are 47" or 47 1/21 " max . the white 4 x 4 flood trays are almost 50 " to the outside edge .

dans there are 2 sizes of trays inside dimensions, which overall the trays will be bigger in size, being that the inside will measure to the 36,or48". and the outside dimension trays, that of course will measure a little smaller :tiphat:

I am talking about the Botanicare fiberglass flood trays that are used as flood trays . the other style are to flimsy to use as flood trays , they will not hold enough water to flood as they're only 4" deep & to flimsy to hold any weight on any type of stand .

heres the link to Botanicares trays
the 36 x 36 is 40" to the outside edge & the 48" trays are 53" to the outsuide edge & will not fit in a 4 x 8 tent of any make or model !

http://www.greners.com/i/hydroponic...ood-tables/botanicare-white-flood-tables.html

these are the black trays that would fit inside a tent , but not deep enough or strong enough to use as flood tables !!!

http://www.botanicare.com/Botanicare-4x4-LT-Tray-Black-P166.aspx

Now .... lyfespan , if you know of another brand flood table that different than the ones i've shown & will fit inside a tent properlly .... by all means show me !

yes those are the trays im referring too as well, they come in 2 different available sizes

Dimensions listed are interior dimensions (INT). Some models have seperate exterior dimensions (EXT).

INT: 22" x 36" x 7"
INT: 24" x 24" x 7"
INT: 24" x 48" x 7", EXT: 25.75" X 43.5" X 7.5"
INT: 36" x 36" x 7", EXT: 41" x 41" x 7"
INT: 36" x 72" x 7", EXT: 41" x 77" x 7"
INT: 48" x 48" x 7", EXT: 53" x 53" x 7"
INT: 48" x 96" x 7", EXT: 53" x 101" x 7"

the inside dimension trays will fit in most tents aside from a few chineese made ones that have metric sizings are seem to be just a bit smaller than 4x8 on the inside of the tents:tiphat:

and yes the low tide trays only come in one dimension and are not as sturdy be any means

they are not 2 different trays ! they are the same tray & they're giving you the inside dimensions (Int) & the outside dimensions (ext )
a 48 x 48 tray , will not fit in a 4 x 4 tent because the outside dimensions of the tray is 53 " ..... theres a 5" lip all around the edge of the tray !
there is no inside dimension tray ...... i need some of what your smokin dude !!!

and to OP measure the inside of that tent from pole to pole and see if your tent actually measures true, mine was considerably smaller. even when ordering the OD tray i still has to bust out the die grinder and cut it to fit:tiphat:

Nice clean looking tents , cheers

I'm thinking maybe try a 4x4 OD in a tent and go from there ... The 4x8 might need to have something built by hand

True ... I'd rather use the whole 4x4 footprint ... Trays that are
Measured to the outside dimention is what I really need I guess

u can use the entire 4x4 footprint of the light. just use 40x40in for the roots lol.. easy to do . shit i got 6 gg4s under 2 1000s.. lol. u could deff use smaller .. i got 2 3x3s i gotta get 4 more. so i can flood my shit instead of watering DAILY .. automated is going ot be retarded i cant keep my water temps down if i have them closer to the tents.

yeah sorry about that , but on the bright side Dans now knows which tray to get to avoid the overlapping 4x4 LTs:biggrin:

as to the tray question, it depends on he tent, i had to cut notches for the poles on my odd sized tent. im guessing its metric chinese

yes you have to do some wood work so the tray doesnt seesaw on the center floor pole
