he´s at 38 days now and doing fine , i keep him on a very low nute regime , with only 2 fertings since inducing flowering , its the same with the females , they are a bit picky about nutes , but thats its all other things are easy cheezy

again congrats on your SSH male. Such enormous pollen reserves are outta this world , plus i'd never seen a male with so many cristals on it

I hope the children of this SSH male will induce extreme stone and be as beautiful as your SSH f2 mutant females, let's enjoy a fat joint when they're ready ^^

how long after he started showing did he drop?

I got a specific C99 male of mine in mind. I am working har to keep ontop of these boys and girls, they are mostly all sexed, but still close to eachother.
I have several strains and would like to keep from crossing strains. Knowing about when they will drop comes in handy, cuz i can just cut them down and keep a branch or 2 in a glass of water and let the pollen drop so i can dust them

he started dropping pollen @ day 29 ; ssH is a late flowerer , of course pheno depending,
the resination was markable with the end of the fourth week , to the naked eye ...
on macros ~ a week earlier .. , but def to find a resinated male you have to plant a couple of beans and you have to keep all males in flowering for 4-5 weeks with a strong light , thats y i use the good ol sun in summer

thx sati , i cut the upper half of him today ... and put the remaining part in veg -
i swear i keep this stud very long for testing its progeny with various moms/strains ... both ssH girls i got in bloom already got a very selective dust from him ... , just a handfull of f3´s and one SnS had the honor ....

here´s my Dc girl , its a bub version ... , some pollen will hit one of her lower branches for a mini batch of Dc x ssH



here´s my Cheese male selection , all very stinky and dense as hell , easy cloning and a fast growing bunch

the middle cheese male showed some fem pistils so i decide to give him the chop , i dont know if its coming from the street lights as the ssh f2 male didnt have any stress symptomes or even a single pistil

Yeah im def proud of him and its been along time as i started the search for especially his trait of resination ... there are many fem´s waiting for him ... to name some ,
Dc,Blowfish,StrawDeez,SourHaze,BlueMoonshine,Blockhead , thats just a few ...
all will be a very small # of beans ranging from a handfull to max 40 - 50 beans !

very nice thread man Lovely venomhead u have there!

alot of interesting crossed you have there what do you plan to do with them?

also how soon Can a male drop pollen, i have a c99 male that is surrounded by girls and i want selection not open pollination.

there outdoors btw and in flower, thus far i have been topping the males and/or pinching the pods off to delay him.

one A11 x BMR male i totally ripped out of the ground then decided that was a bad plan since one of the 2 males i have might be the better one to pollinate my 1 girl
he didnt even sweat it, 1 foot tall plant with no roots stuck into the ground and growing fast in less than a week. I suspect an easy cloning strain

i dunno how long A11/BMR males need , never grown this

but my males , start dropping outdoor´s between 18 and 27 days flowering with the first 7-10 days forced indoor ! I´m searching every day for some ripe sacks to collect and dry/freeze when dried - For avoid unwanted mixing i flower my male´s in 1 month-steps , so its not possible that 2 strains drop at the same time , so no pollen can be mixed.

I added a second e/f table making now ~ + 18 sqf illuminated by 1K for now ... , its easier to select strains with this technique and when ready selected , switch back to the smaller table and the 600 , there are just 3 packs of beans to select for this year .
I put all smaller ones and the Vh testers under the 400 watter and left those bigger ones under the 600 w candle ....
it was nessesary to split indies and sats as i dont want loss on both side´s being grown in different heights and we all know 600 or even 1K dont shine really wide (effective!!) and i dont grow popcorn !
