ok i stoped by a local pet shop today.looking for a pet..well all these fish caught my eye.especially salt water.
i really think clown fish are cool.
but i heard saltwater tanks are high matenance.is this true?
i was thinking about getting this..

I suggest you start with a freshwater, Ram. I wouldn't worry about buying a fully equipped aquarium, just go up to a pet store, and tell them what you are wanting to do.. compare the prices.

Gonna reef out this girl, just got her filled with liverock and sand at this point. Let her cycle properly. This is a 10 gallon so should be a bit challenging.

Sgt. those temps are perfect for raising discus. If you dont have a r/o filter i would suggest investing in one as well as something to replace the trace elements lost in the filtering.

I breed discus in the fall and sell them on aquabid.com

need any help feel free to pm, discus can be easy for some and a nightmare for others

nice tank sgt.stedanko.. I'll have a reef system some day.I'm lookin to get about 120-150 gal, mostly live rock and fish but a few corals, My current tank (45 gal fish only) is 20 years old now and gonna need to be replaced befor it leaks.
