I don't use fish hydrolysate but I'm under the impression that any animal that eats fish will be attracted to it. Quantity probably matters so if you're using enough that it's a significant soil amendment then it's probably gonna smell enough to attract bears and other fish lovers.

A trace amount in a diluted tea would be much less likely to attract animals but it's probably still possible.

Used fishbone meal a few years back and had a bear come flip over a few 200gal smarties that were composting looking for more and drug one about 50ft away too with big tooth holes. My dogs do like the fish hydrolysate bag for sure as well.

Yep I had coons and other assorted small varmints digging up my plants when I used dried blood. I suspect fish based ferts would attract them also.

Even bone meal and chicken/cow manure can attract critters to dig on your spot.
Only way is preparing the place long before planting cannabis there.

I know it attracts Raccoons. I used it outdoors one one plant and they dug up that plant looking for goodies. There is a small herd of Raccoons here in the burbs.

I sprayed Pure Protein Dry weekly last summer with the atomizer. Did one root drench and a bear came and laid in one of my pots. Foliar for the win.
