Gifted as coffee, due to it smelling like coffee, even in early veg. Told it was an afghani. The guy it came from calls it a black afghani, due to the dark coloring the leaves take on in cold temps. When grown properly, especially in soil, it develops a foul kushy odor, stinks worse than any strain i've ever smelled, almost like rotten fish(in a good way), hense, fish coffee. No lemon or fruit or fuely smells whatsoever, just a chocolatey stankness.
Although it does look similar to some chem strains, i seriously doubt the dude had access to any. Plus it yeilds way bigger than any of them i've seen to date(thigh sized colas have been achieved) and has never shown signs of herm, ever. I've had it for almost 2 years. flav, nacho, crunchy taco and i are the only folks online with it, and only a handful others offline. locals only, not available to public, but breeding projects are in the works as we speak and seeds will be available soon. once bx's have been made, i will release clones to 2 breeders only. i have a ton of pics to post up, having problems posting atm...
when i click on the pics from my gallery and hit submit, it says your post contains one or more urls, please remove them before posting.....do i need to get my post count up before posting pics or something? I don't understand.
flav- yeah enviromental differences can make all the difference. mother nature is a sly one. but who knows......maybe they're different cuts, i mean, they look different..... they probally just came from some hippy in the area who passed it on as fishcoffee when it's just some s1 or cross, there's no way they are the same cut directly from the source of origins.....
all kidding aside, i can't wait till everyone gets a chance to grow/taste her, she is holy grail material imho, and i'm honored to have my name associated with her. giant hardy hermie/pest resistant frosted cashcropper plants that reek of rotten chocolatey kush. yeah, i'm a fan
This baby right here smells like straight skunk and coffee had a field day. Maybe similar to yours...all i know is that this smell has driven me bonkers since the first time i smelt it back when i got it in a sack of herbs. Truely a favorite scent in my book.
