Yeah bag seed like that is usually a self pollinated seed that comes from the nature of sensitive plants like the diesels and chemdawgs. Chances are it'll be a female or a lady with male parts and have bananas in the buds, sometimes sterile and sometimes containing pollen which will then seed your girl.

For a virgin run, bagseed from heavily seeded commercial stuff is not a bad choice either. You can find the occasional gem in there.

The seeds I planted are of different origin. 12 were sour diesel, and the other 12 were seeds from a batch of piff I got that was very green light and fuzzy, yet sticky and moist when pulled apart. I planted both batches separate so I can tell them apart. The seeds were very dark brown with streaks of black almost running along the shell. They were also very hard and looked very healthy or like they came from a healthy source.

What do you all think? Should I continue to keep the batches separate?
Should I destroy all the males?

Oh alright with that many plants you'll be fine. I thought you only had a couple, I was going to say you could end up getting screwed if that was all you were planting. Nice man sounds like you get some good tree here. Its been awhile since I've had any piff.

You'll probably want to sex them early. 24 plants in a 3rd floor apartment could get crowded real fast lol especially hazes and diesel which will double and triple in size in flowering.

Can I ask what do you mean by sex them early.... You mean flower them?

Sorry I'm new to this process and it's lingo, so I am just getting familiar with all the slang terms. Lol

By the time they're done they'll be tremendous and I can't picture any one carrying a ton of plants in and out of an apartment without any one seeing (or smelling) you. Keep the haze in small pots and flower early, they're going to be large.

I think you'd be better off converting your closet or another space into an area where you can grow with artificial light, especially with the strains you're growing. Other strains like Afghanis or kushes for example wont stretch nearly as much as a haze will when they are flowered and can be kept at manageable heights without having to bend, snap, and tie back branches to control the growth.

Cannivore your last post was great. I got a vivid picture in my head of me running in the building plants under each arm while my neighbors chase me trying to steal my beautiful ladies. LMFAO!! You're right though closet conversion starts today. Gotta hang these CFL's and should I line the closet with tin foil?
