First Time Grow House Shopping

It depends so much state-to-state, city-to-city. What I'd look for in Northern California, where young white male renters are assumed to be growers, is much different than in my current Midwestern State. My white ass puts NRA, BASS fishing and a dopey religious sticker, among others, on my pickup truck. The cops here are my "buddies." No shit my bullshit bumper stickers have started conversation with cops at fast food joints about fishing spots and the damned atheists (i'm an atheist), lol..

If you're in CA, man, the game has changed so much out there that I'm speaking out of turn even giving my thoughts.

If you're in the Midwest or most areas on the East Coast, why the hell are you renting? That would be my first and most important issue. You can work out owner financing for less than a G a month on a variety of suitable homes.

In general, though, what I look for in neighbors is a lack of them. Failing that, cornball, upper middle class white people who love Jesus, America, pumpkin pie and GW Bush. Blending into the bland corporate landscape of America works best in my experience.

Why on earth would you want to grow marijuana, around some bible-thumping,Dubbya Bush loving, conservatives?????
Yea it might be physically safer, but not legally safer. My main concern when growing is legal safety. These type of people generally Do not mind their own buisness. They would be the first to rat on you if they saw anything suspious. But then again you could get away growing almost anywhere if youre on top of your game and not appearing suspious. But why risk it.In my opinion you want to grow around libral, beer drinking, fun loving, mind there own buisness as long as you dont fuck with them, type of people. Not people who think marijuana, sex, and rock n roll is destroying the world. But you dont want to be in the gutter of the hood either, and risk being robbed or your house broken into.I would want to be somewhere in the middle.Just my 2 cents.Which is'nt worth much at all.

attached garage for moving stuff in and out...30 amp dryer connection....any evidence of electrical upgrades (current spot had 50amp subpanel installed right next to my grow haha).....my current spot is awesome. 3 bedroom single family home....the top floor of the house is the main floor that connects to the street and has a master bedroom, master bathroom, kitchen and living room with nice views...

then downstairs is where the magic starts, its like a dungeon down there with pretty constant temps. the bottom floor is two 10x10 bedrooms, another decent sized bathroom, and the 30amp dryer connection right there. and we ran new wires from the 50amp subpanel and only had to punch a few holes.....

my current spot makes a nice grow house....i live upstairs seperate from the grow and have two bedrooms to play with downstairs..

Basement!

Basement!

I looked steady for 18 months to find a full basement. I live in the city of Sacramento, so basements aren't common. I actually found a 90 year old farm house w/full basement. Was the original farm house for a olive orchard until the city swallowed it in the 1950's.

I had a new elec service panel installed before we moved in. Oh Yeah!

The 'coup de grace' was finding the full sized brick chimney running from the basement up thru 2 floors & out the roof. They quit using the old gas furnace when they installed the central heat & air 25 years ago. The only use then for the chimney was to vent the gas water heater in the basement. It's got a 10" vent running up it now!

Good luck bro
