I got a LED light on the way It no where near as powerful as yours, but im only using it as supplemental lighting anyway. Your plants are gonna be monsters under that LED you've got!!And i bet your girls will just love it. How far away do you keep the light?

I keep my 1 120w(really 23w) CFL about 5-6 inches from the middles of the plants then my LED I keep 12in -24.. My supplemental LED's on the sides are about 10in' from em. They seem to love it. Looks like my other one is dying if not dead. I'm not just gonna throw her away tho, I shall tend to her every need to see if she will grow for me.

And the genetics for the clones are legit!! I'm gettin them from my dispensary and I've sampled and seen the mothers myself. And the Nirvana seeds are speaking for themselves already!! Hasn't even been 2 weeks. Thanks for the feedback Kiwi. You keep me coming back lol.

You confused me with the wattage of the CFL! lol from now on just say the actual wattage.

To be honest i wouldn't even bother with the 23watt CFL, the LED's will be fine. I doubt the CFL would make much of a difference, mind you 23watts is cheap as chips to run so ya might aswell! hah. I like the look of your setup.

Congrats on the clones! You're really lucky to have access to a dispensary man, i hope this divine medicine works well for you No comment on Nirvana....-_-

And I've heard from CFL growers that CFLS help with the growing of the Trichs. Seeing that my LED has a the full spectrum, I don't see a 23w ionic CFL hurting, plus it kills the yeast smell my bottles give off. Which is a super plus. Without it on one day my room reeked.

It's pretty goddamn wet. But when I burned the bitch it was bone dry. So I'm thinking her roots may have been damaged? Idk we'll see how it turns out. I'm just waiting on those other seeds and CLONES!! I'm super hype lol. Btw if you don't mind me asking what do you have against Nirvana? They're cool people..

Yeah, the seedling looks fried. She might recover though! you'd be surprised at how strong seedlings can be. I wish all the best for her.

As for Nirvana, yes very good people. I did like the service and i appreciate the communication. However the seeds i brought from Nirvana didn't turn out to be anything like what was advertised. The buds were absolute shite! Complete crap. First impressions really stick with me, and that first impression just left me f*cked right off! I could have tried a different strain from them, but nah for me it isn't worth the effort as i have heard horrible things about Nirvana from a few other people. I don't want to put you off though, as I've heard from 1 guy on here that he got 1 of his best mother plants from them! Whether or not he works for them and is just trying to promote them? I dunno....? I am pretty skeptical.

She was looking a tad bit better this morning, but I decided to toss her since I'm getting more strains, I'm not gonna literally toss her tho, I shall see how bad she wants to live. Experiment of the Hardiness of seedlings. I completely understand I'mma be pissed If I'm not satisfied with atleast 1-10 beans I got from them. Better view of my Setup..

Someday, I will try a grow from seed... Right now, just working on my first grow from ANYTHING (I have two clones).

Whuttup LateToTheGame, Thanks man I appreciate it!! Hell yeah I'm still making minor adjustments as I go. Yeah it was!! Cost me a lil under 250 for all the lights, maybe like 500 all together with all the expensive ass seeds, clones, nutes, mediums.. ETC. Temps are at a steady 75 - 80, humidity is at 60 - 75/80% Speaking of mediums just made my Mini Hempy Buckets for the Veg stage ^_^ Oh yeah also at the very end you can see one full of JUST 100% Perlite. Going to do a test grow with one of my seedlings.

The ones on the right are mixed with Coco/Perlite/Vermiculite. 60/20/20. The ones on the left just have potting soil in them with some perlite thrown in there because I ran out of Coco(Threw the rest outside for my outdoor plant.) All have about 2 inches of 100%perlite on the bottom.

things are lookin great for your first run! take pride in it every day and things will pay off. stick with a routine and keep your room clean with lots of air flow.
seems like you already caught the seed addiction hahaha. remember to keep clones of all your seedlings. you never want to let THAT ONE get away.
I definitely recommend treating all the clones (and seedlings) with preventatives for bugs and molds. always be very careful when introducing a new plant into your environment. just because it came from a shop, doesn't mean its clean, bug n mold free. some things are systemic and will only show after time when the conditions are best. im not sayin that this will happen, just be safe.
the first grow is always so much fun.....
im sure you will be so proud of yourself in the months to come.

What exactly is the benefit of the yeast and gatorade bottle. It looks like you only did that for 3-4 days.

But na, I took biology and chemistry last semester in comm. college and learned a bit more that I didnt know about plant life. And I have seen a lot of peoples attempts. Never have I seen a sprout look like that, Maybe, Maybe a clone. But good god. How much for a cut? do they do that on ICMAG?
