i am south so the humidity is hell where i am. i put them 100 gallon smart pots due to the ground here is strait sand. the 100 gallon is more than enough for what i done this season. i started in 30 and moved up to the 100's in september.you could do bangi haze, nepaljam, just about anything that is 70 ish % sativa. i will be doing blue dream as one of the strains i will try this season along with panama x malawi, angola x panama, congo x . i amend my soil well to carry them thru

hope it helps just let me know if you have any questions and see if i can help

Thanks @flboy! I'm planning to do a guerrilla grow without any help. I can't imagine how I'd place 5 or 6 100 gallon smart pots with soil in my secluded grow spots. Seems like a LOT of weight and soil.
Thanks for the strain recommendations....I'm definitely leaning towards the Bangi Haze.

i do it myself and it is a pain in the ass the first time(back pack) how do you plan on feeding them. north fl has better soil than we do down here. so you plan on just amending the soil that is there. i seen a post from up your way that he plants straight into the ground and hand feeds but i mix all my goods in the soil so just need to water them.

I have lived in in many locations in FL and the panhandle does seem to have the best "native" soil. I plan on amending what I have and maybe mixing in some perlite. Minus the amendments that I can carry in when preparing the sites, I'll supplement with hand feeding.
Did you mulch your grow area or use any fencing (animal protection)? Mulching might help preserve moisture but I don't want to do anything to promote mold.
Thanks again for all your help!

i did at first but i removed that shit not long after i put it out for that reason. no fence or animal control last time when i germed them out side i kept them close to me till they hit around the 30 day old mark then put them in the final pot by then they were big enough to handle there own. if deer is an issue there is a feed store in panama on sr 77 they should have coyote urine just dip a tampon in it and hang in a tree close by you have no worries after that.

Great advice about the Coyote urine. Now where can I get a tampon? <kidding>
My plan is similar to your grow and I plan on "hardening" them and sexing them close to home before putting them to bed in their final homes.
Final frost is towards the end of February so I figured to pop the seeds middle of March and in a week or so to put them in 2 gal pots outside, under clear plastic until they are ready to be planted in the ground. By then they should be ready to stand on their own and there won't be a danger of a late frost.
Thanks again for all the advice!

that is when i started last season was march 23 rd. be prepared for some big girls especially if you look at the malawi. those girls will stretch big time. i pruned and pinched all summer to help but they get big. the bangi not so bad and she showed sex in about 30 days.

I saw the pictures of your girls. Huge!! Excellent work. Considering all the work you put into them.....I'm glad you were able to reap the rewards.
Also looks like you got creative with supporting them as they got bigger. I'm definitely thinking of starting with something more conservative (for a 1st outdoor grow) like the Bangi. Showing sex at 30 days would be a welcome trait.
Thanks again for all the help.
