Hey Hey People.

I have removed the offending male!!!!!!!

And I`m gonna dispose of him securely tomorrow, In the mean time I have replaced him with 2 more plants that I hope will be females!!!!!!!!!!!

Hopefully that will mean only three weeks between each harvest of this grow, then I`ve got six more bagseed seedlings, after growing out all these plants it may be time to spend some money on seeds but I`m looking at expanding the growroom already.

Theres just not enough time or money at the moment!!!!!! oh well it will sort itself out in time.

looks awesome phantom. dont worry about the yellow leaves to much its just the older (first) set of leaves that tend to die off. maybe look into getting general hydro 3 part series for fertilzer, never messed up once, its pretty simple. also since u are in flowering u could supplement with blackstrap molasses to get the tasty stinkiest resiny buds

your bag seed does look like its got indy in it. here is a pic of my current bagseed, its a fruity tange flavor!
she is getting chopped in 7 nights!

she looks kind of ugly and unkept in the pic but its only because i need to tie the whole fricking plant up more to give the buds some light!

hey phantom, what's up. looking good in there. : )

i read where you were asking about temperature. from my understanding for veg they should be around 76 deg, for bloom around 78 deg. but i'm a beginner. has anyone with a little more experience dropped a nug of wisdom yet?

Bagseed is great to start with-sometimes u get a really nice mistery strain.
Although i bet u will wanna get some other known strains soon enough.
happy u got some females-good job picking out the male

As for ideal temperature...between 70-80 is sweet,,but as we all know Marijuana is a strong plant and can resist alot off problems.

But you say the temps 98 degrees when u checked--so that is too hot im afraid..but as you see for yourself they are stil growing/
try to get more air circulation if u can-giving some good air flow.

i agree with alaska--also molasses is dirt cheap../read up on it.
its all about MOLASSES!!!

well i used molasses and i didnt see much of a differance i used it 3 weeks prior to finish and now i am going to use humbolts purple max snow and gravity on 3 of my plants and house and gardens top boosters and shooting powder on the other 3 and see which ones work better. but some people have great luck with it gl bud and cant wait to see ur new pics

Hey Mrpiston, I was just talking w/ the guy at my local hydro shop about that Humbolts gravity. He said if you want a heavy coat of snow use that shit. I am guessing he knows what I'm growing. LOL. You should let me know how it goes, I may be interested. A little bottle was like 30 bucks if I remember correctly.

He did give me a free sample of the Bushmaster by Humbolt. I am trying that as we speak. Guy at shop said it works way better than Dr. Nodes. Hopefully he is right, cause I would love some rock solid tight buds. I will be posting results on my thread and I will let you all know if this bush master stuff works.

well there products are really expinsive and the only reason i can see why is that they work. i dont have the bush master but i wanted it. its kinda funny my fiances grandmother is our local hydro shops land lord so they hook me up phat when i go in. well i will be posting pic as soon as i get to that point.

UPDATE

Hey people,

Things have changed greatly, I have added 2 new plants to the room and tomorrow I will be expanding the circulation potential.


The ladies are looking good so far and we are seeing nice small buds appearing with white pistils.

Once these are harvested it will only be 3 weeks untill the next harvest if the remaining 2 are females

Then I am hoping to grow clones from TC and run them in coco with instruction and assistance from TC.

Its a shame theres no pics for today as i looked to keep it full of them but I got back from work a little too late to get pics just time for a quick check.

Everything will hope fully keep going well, Thanx for dropping by and checking out my thread, good to see you again steve g. everyone keep the comments, advice and suggestions coming in its all considered and appreciated

Hey steve..............Intake!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am very worried about smell leaks.........but I am looking at completely changing the room for a higher yield (no yield yet but I got big daydreams) I`m telling you its all I can think of.

So untill I decide one way or the other intake isn`t happening for at least a week. I guess thats one of the reasons I have temp problems.

As I am growing in a shed I will be looking to mount inverted extractor fans underneath the shed, this however presents another problem.........noise they are not silent and I live in a quiet dead end road.

At the moment I have as you know a wardrobe inside a shed with an extractor mounted in the roof. this is practically silent as it is inside the shed.

I also have a six inch fan mounted next to the door which circulates the air above the plants and I have just moved the thermometer to plant level from light level hopefully this will give me a truer reading at plant level, I will see tomorrow.

But in the meantime I am happy to report that the ladies are looking really bushy and healthy, they now have inch or so high by half inch or so wide buds at the top and many little buds have appeared.

I will be hopefully getting some ferts from a fellow IC grower on monday and will be looking into molasses if I can get to the grow shop.

No pics at present because I can`t find the camera arrrrrrrrrgggggggggghhhhhhh

But hopefully it will turn up soon as they are looking so good I wanna share them

i just saw your first pics on this thread of the cab and thats why i was asking about the intake holes..also cause u said your room temps are 98 degrees.
but its also in your shed right/? so maybe you can get air from outside and bring it into your shed to cool it more.???maybe next time

Hey that was quick,

I am thinking about running some form of hose so the noise of the fan/fans will not be right there. hopefully this will work as I dont wanna be cutting holes and then thinking oh sh*t I screwed it up..........

I am using a 4INCH extractor and that can move up to 90 square metres of air an hour so 1 or 2 of these working intake as well as the extraction should let me regulate temp better. I`m gonna start with 1 then if I need to I will go to 2.

As I say things are going well so I am just enjoying the good vibes while they last, I`ve got some bottlerocket from a fellow grower so I am happily smoking a joint.

Update time,

17 days in 12/12 and there is buds on the plants NO1 is a little droopy today but I am only watering them every other day (may have to water them every day but don`t wanna over water them) I found the camera so heres some pics.

All is looking good and I`m very happy with how its going, hopefully things will go on like this.

yeah that sucks when u get pests in the soil u purchase. Terrible.
believe me iknow..it happened to me too/more then once.
i suggest u try some neem oil with your waterings.. to kill any eggs and larvae in your soil.
it will help,i noticed right away. Also u might wanna try picking up some sticky yellow traps/i just started using them,, every morning i notice they catch alot of those little bastards you speak of.
they cost like 7 $ at homedepot-im very happy i got them. just be careful Not to stick leaves to it-or youll rip them.
are you planing to flower at 8 weeks? cause they look more like sativa dominant to me ..you might want to go 9 weeks or more cause sativas usually flower much longer. Just a thought.

I have successfully imported a spider into my growroom and he seems to be doing a good job so far, theres a few flys in the web already

I`m looking for Neem oil and can`t seem to find it any where, as for the yellow strips, can I get them in the uk do you know?

9 weeks huh? well I got this far so if its gonna make it a better smoke then I`m willing to have the patience to go 9 or even 10 weeks if need be

I have yet to get a magnifier but I was gonna rely on the trichromes to tell me, either way I want to get the full POTENTial from these babies.

thats really the best way,i just bought a lil pocket microscope-never used them b4--so it was a new world for me.
by all mean u dont have to go 9+ weeks--by checking the colors change from white to more amber color. It all about u bro..but i like how u think about getting the full potential--at the end its really hard to wait sometimes..u just wanna get at it..but wait another week ..and u might be happier you did

aswome that your spider is doin god work for ya, i got neem from online-im in canada,i dont know anywhere in uk.u could order online or just check a local store. the sticky tabs for pests --i bet u could find those anywhere..just look for ant sprays/insecticides and stuff and there around.
