You think that a 1 gal pot will be big enough? They say not to use clay pots because they absorb all the moisture, and i've noticed that to be true. Not sure if thats what you were planning on using. I was just gunna throw em in the ground with the half gal or so of dirt that they have in the pot right now. I'm not sure what the soil is like here. I was just gunna keep my fingers crossed that i'd be okay. They are suppost to be very resilient plants, as they are weeds. Honestly I was more worried about animals and bugs munching on them, but i guess if they die because they are in the wrong soil, it shouldnt be a problem.

Well, imo its worth a little extra work to get better soil. But, as you said they are resilient plants, with deer I use soap cut into slivers, human hair, and piss. Bugs, I have seen stuff that you can spray on or around them, just search the forums and youll find all kinds of shit. Im also growing a strain best grown outdoors, what about yourself? Keep me posted.

Its bubba kush. I heard soap will attract rats because they can eat the fat in the soap. Read that in the outdoor forum somewhere. I hear you on the dirt, i'm just really not trying to put that much effort into em, and only have a trowel, no big shovel. I was worried about it being such a long flowering time, but the site i got em from says outdoor they finish in september. I'm not sure how that is possible if the days don't start being 12/12 until late september, but what the hell. Pretty much i just got these two ones that are extra, and was going to put them out because I dont want to just throw em away. Good luck with your grow. I'll be checking in around harvest to see how it went.

Hmm, Ive never heard that about rats, do you think rats pose danger to pot plants?? But, as far as your grow atleast try an till the dirt where you plant them, and if they say late Sept they finish, Im sure they will. I know that according to the sun 12/12 doesnt start till Sept 25th but, they say that plants start flowering in late August. If you think about it I guess its cause it gets dark in the woods before the sun goes all the way down. But, keep my posted on your grow in here too. One thing you should do is go browse through the infirmirary section to look at problems people have had so if you have one, your ready for it. Best luck, keep me posted. Maybe today or tommorow Ill post updated pictures of the plants. I would also say, take those 2 seeds you have germinate them, put them 2 inches under a nice CFL and let them get a foot tall or so before putting outside.

Well two of the plants out grew the box a few days ago so they were transplanted to bigger pots and sent outside. Here are some shots of the 2 sent outside. The rest will be going outside as they mature. PS pics are at day 42.
Just wanted to update everyone. More to come for sure.

ANY TIPS! ??????

First tip would be to lay off the Marlie Reds, nasty nasty

Plants are looking good, now you just have to wait till sept to get some buds going on them

You letting them become trees? or are you tying them down

Ook
DrDog, I dont smoke, my grow partner is the smoker, lol, thanks tho. We plan on just letting them grow natural, so I soppose you can grow into trees.

D Rock, there is alot of stuff growing around, its hard to tell right now if they get good sun or not. We will just work with it, move them around if needed. But, we figured after 2 days of being in the woods it wasnt wilted at all (see pic) so we thought it must be getting decent light.

Time will tell and I will work with what I got.
Thanks for the help you two, more tips and suggestions are asked for.

Thanks
- Saw
