I am pretty sure it was sterile i mixed 50% verm with 50% coco. I might have overwatered... I will go pickup some daconil as soon as possible. I will try and get some pics for you guys today.

I am thinking it is mold since the white residue on the soil looked similar to that that would be on bread etc. It is very humid where I live also which could easily cause onset of mold growth.

Remember that most fungicides work by protecting plants rather than curing them once a disease starts. Sounds like overwatering caused this.

I don't want you to hurt the remaining seedlings with the fungicide. So, use 1/2 of whatever the bottle says for ornamentals.

verm: vermiculite i assume? is notorious for harbouring hidden nasties which arise when wet, there are a few variteys about, the stuff you get at garden centres, growshops etc etc is usualy cool, but its also used on building sites as insulation between brickwork, chimney breasts, etc and is a cheaper version produced for just that purpose, (which also works but at a high risk)
sounds like over watering if your soil is effected too, i'd go with SPROUTCO'S advice on this,
goodluck

do you have to PH balance coco??? lasat time i used coco coir brick they were too high in PH and my seedlings got burned bad.....justlike my first experience rooting into rock wool...i never knew you had to soak the rock wool in PH balanced water, i reached best results with rock wool when i squeezed the blocks in my hand and let it soak up the new ph balanced water repeating the process till i felt satisfied. With the coco i could never get them ph balanced...is this the same with all coco products?? they come with high PH ?
