Why not do something cool. Like treat other nations with respect, or practice actual freedom? Wouldn't lazers or 3D projections make alot more sense.

I wrote more but it came across as shit talk so I erased it. Not what I am trying too do.

Just nothing that cool about wasting money making it litter from the sky too celebrate a holiday that glorifies war.

When do we spend a billion bucks throwing a party for those who refuse to fight or damage or planet?

At the show I saw last night, they put up a perfect happy face. I was impressed, something new and very hard to do. The finale was good too, not so much boom as display.

I used to go to a gun show that had a fireworks maker who vended a few items. One was a make your own m/80’s. Two ingredients, plus shells and fuses. Even homemade ladyfingers with that was impressive. That seller ended up blowing his business up by accident for the last time and stopped selling.

Bottlerockets got more interesting for us as kids once we discovered you could put a carpet nail into the end and it would stick into whatever you shot it at

I didn't know this, but John Adams is the one who wanted to have fireworks to celebrate the signing of the Declaration of Independence on the 4th....


So it isn't like its something that was added on later to modernize it... It is actually part of our culture.... lighting off fireworks is as American as Apple Pie...



Just be responsible and pay the kiddies a couple bucks to pick up the litter when you are done

I saw on the news last night- in California, where brush fires are a big issue, instead of fireworks displays, they do it with tiny drones. Looked pretty cool!
