Fireknot farm 2016

Yea those pistils are white as snow and plentiful.

So I wonder then if cola diameter (when it stops increasing) would be a good indicator of when to start 'blowing up the tire' with K as you guys have put it.

I want to switch to light dep so I can run more than one in a year which would speed up my learning process and give an opportunity to experiment. Greenhouse is a whole new learning curve though and I don't have indoor experience.

Thanks for sharing, cat!

No because the tissue is behind the sap so using your eyes is pointless.

Ok so if you're trying to dial it in then you're too late if you start applying more K only after the cells have stopped dividing. You have to anticipate it.

But at least it will give me an idea of when it's happening so I can anticipate it better next time. This is why running clones is key, huh. You can anticipate every move. Maybe down to the day but Maybe not-- I don't know how much of an effect epigenetics has on it.

Free radical damage leads to cell death...eventually it will kill us all. Preventing it equals living longer.

You know how people say mo amber equals mo couch locky. Ever ask yourself why that is. I feel like it is cause Myrcene is the last essential oil to go rancid...it must be an omega 6

Pick a strain that suits you without going rancid

It absolutely has to do with oxidation of psychoactive compounds and the entourage effect.

The kush is so good because of the synergy between terpenes and THC combined with my drying room not getting over 72F , makes for a lot of that stuff sticking around for us to enjoy.

Can't wait to wash some live with liquid nitrogen and make live rosin , it's gonna be dumb.

Plantingplants - this has been over a decade long journey through all kinds of stuff just keep trying things and observing. Most importantly keep asking good questions.

It is not radical. It is correct. The difference is amazing. I have personally reached closed eye visuals on Cat Kush.

Wasnt sure we were saying it out loud but how to do it is the tricky part. Anyways...i dont even like to see orange/red hairs til drying. That is free radical damage...protect your plant

I meant radical in the sense that it's progressive and radically different than the current ideas about hair and trichome color and mold. In a good way. Radical in the sense of going to the root.

Cat, I'm struggling to find the Nova Crop Control literature. I only found a few PDFs on their News sidebar. How do I find it? or Doka? or anyone else who reads their stuff...

Liquid nitrogen live rosin. Good lord, that sounds fun.

Live rosin gonna be fun; the plan is to flash freeze with ln2, tumble the buds, then smash the kief.

I'm going to first try a cold press and see what happens and also will try some on an extremely low heat setting.

I'm going to try to round up some plates from some friends in Co this week.

On the nova stuff , the results are on a separate database off their site you need an account to get in to

Yes we are trying to get to the nitty gritty of this stuff. No bro science. Most growers just want something to copy and don't have any interest in understanding physics, chemistry, agronomy, botany, management, physiology, biology and microbiology.

Once you understand the mechanics though you can make your own system

7 down, trimmers steady. Lots of deleafing and chopping in my world. Stuff is looking and smelling better than expected. This is fun.

There's 4" of rain predicted to start falling friday for 4 days.

10 plants down. All the remesh is occupied.

I ripped my old fence out and made 17 more drying cages. I'm going to start filling them right now and packing every square inch of my house with weed.

Anyone else trippin' out?

Seems to be the consensus from the Instagramosphere

I took a lot down this week so far, taking one more worth of tops tomorrow then riding the storm out. Not tripping but not stoked either.
