what it is doing is having a box come up (while its acting like this) that says to either open or download- "search.php" "which is a php file"...so if what you have said dosnt work maybe that info will give you a clue?...thanks again.HH. =]-~

Very good Firefox tips bro ......... being a dedicated firefox user for years the speed tip worked great. Using Ubuntu and can see a huge difference in page loading speed.

If I download a lot of torrents, is there somewhere in the config for me to allow bitlord to pull faster. I got a quad core, with 8gig of ram....I should be downloading torrents a lot faster than 400kbs.

ps...the original 3 options I changed from your first post didnt really seem to speed it up. maybe something I did? ANd instead of 30, I made mine 60, should I put it back down? figured my crazy comp could handle whatever I through at it. Would love to figure out how to get this damn machine to USE its 8gig of ram...lol

Wt420, use the #'s that are used its not your computer that is performing faster its the program. 8gb your zoomin,just use the exact #'s show, heres a site i found that might help you out.
