I dont know that imageshack can report me, im not register but always used it.
It might not be an issue, but it is a possible security risk. Just wanted to help people avoid any unnecessary attention. I've seen mods at ICmag bring up the same thing warning other people - so really the only reason I am bringing it up is for concern of the well-being of the members on this site. I think you will be fine, but it's always better to be safe than sorry.
I'm not sure how often it gets pursued at Imageshack, after the fact. But they log the IP Address of every computer that uploads a photo in relation to each specific photo. IP Addresses will clearly show were you live to the exact address - even if they are dynamic ip's it takes a simple call to your ISP to figure out your exact address.
Also some pictures now how GPS data embedded into the photos, so be careful of that as well. It is used to organize your photos on a map, so you can see where each of the photos was taken before selecting photo folders to look at.
Most cell phones have this already turned on, and it does take a direct coordinates location of where the photo was taken. Some regular digital camera and SD cards also have GPS technology in them.
Be conscious of the possible vulnerabilities and risks, and stay safe everyone =]
