Fingerprints on equipment alone should never secure a conviction (in the US at least), so there's a reasonable possibility that the threat was laid out to encourage your friend to give up some info, rather than being a legitimate threat of being charged.

US or England same thing prints can lead to charges!

I had lived 50+ years and managed to avoid being fingerprinted, completely Under the Radar, Traffic court to fight a speeding ticket is the most LEO I'd had in my world for many many years. Damned if they didn't finally find a way to database me! Feds! All I had to do is work temp for the Census!

my point is, throw any old stuff out that you dont use or dont intend to be using, old bulbs and other shit, you guys will know what im talking about, i used to keep old shit myself just because i could not be arsed throwing it away, now i only keep what i need, everything else got ditched, stoners can be lazy fuckers who always leave everything until tomorrow, get on that shit today guys, stay safe.

I try and get rid of as much "previous evidence" as possible..as soon as the nutrient bottle is finished it goes it in the bin...same with everything else.
